I’ve been waiting forever to get my hands on this game but haden’t had the opportunity to. Now that I have it I plan to play religiously, I’m looking for a guild that does WvWvW and dungeon runs and other PvE, but doesn’t REQUIRE involvement in “events”. I don’t want to feel like I have to skip work or risk being kicked out of a guild. I want to join a group of active players that are dedicated to the game but not elitists and have fun as they move towards their goals.

I’m brand new and I’m creating this thread before picking my server. I plan to learn the game quickly though.

Why dont you give raiders of the mist a try? We are a Tarnished coast guild that does a bit of everything. We dont have any schedules and our only requirement is that if you have a high level character (lvl80) put some effort in how you dress

Broken Chains is PvX guild on the Tarnished Coast sever. Our goal is to provide a good group of gamers and friends to any people we group with. Ryekt, you’ve said a few things that made me very interested in you. I normally prefer to recruit players who are set and ready to play, but you sound like the type of player who isn’t looking for hand holding. I’d love to be able to have a chat with you, in game or some other real time method, to see if our interests align.

I run a tight, friendly, and active guild. We do have some elitist goals, I guess, but without that attitude. We’re familiar with hardcore guilds with strict rules and having cutthroat competition, and we’re not that. Having fun and making friends for years to come is our desire, and working together to reach a higher level is our goal.

All we ask of our members is to be active, be loyal to our guild, keep learning/improving, and contribute/participate, such as joining guild events when you’re on and playing anyway. I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cosy laid back guild.

We have only 28 members atm, of course we are willing to grow more in the future, but still keep the family feeling.

All our members are 18+ right now, I would not mind taking younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are small, we have a very active group of people now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

Invictus on the Maguuma server is now recruiting active players. We are a guild composed of like minded adults that come from many other mmo backgrounds. We have weekly events planned like spvp and explore mode runs. We have our own vent server that is used on a regular basis. Most members are lvl 40+ with a hand full of 80’s. We are all adults that know that real life comes first. We also know that when your in a game you want to feel at home in a guild and enjoy knowing you represent that guild. Our members are all seasoned players that raided in other mmos so dungeon runs are enjoyable. We have strong pvpers also and once a week we like to get together and go do some spvp sometimes just take a whole server and fight each other for fun. Once a month we have a planned guild event that a prize is awarded. The use of our website is where you can keep track of events. Hello there. We are a small guild looking to expand with the right people. Though we will be keeping the guild small.

[NOX] is a very small english speaking guild based on the Desolation (EU) server. We are comprised of a few friends from WoW and are looking for a few more people to join us in the wonderful world of Tyria.

We are a tight-knit guild who do dungeons, WvW and general PvE. We would like more people so we can do dungeons and WvW as a guild – and as such have more of an impact on it. Though we will be keeping the guild small and “intimate” for want of a better word.

We are relaxed and not hard-core players at all. We have all been hard-core players in other games… and now its time to take it easy. We play for the enjoyment of the game and to play the game with friends.

The type of person we are looking for will most certainly need a slightly skewed sense of humour and be mature. Common sense rules and guild atmosphere takes priority.

We have a forum which is in the process of being altered and we also have access to a Team Speak server. Tea and coffee facilities will have to be provided by yourself though.

Wanted to share some information on our guild. We’re located on Isle of Janthir, our guild name is Valor [RUN]

We are currently recruiting players who wish to excel and improve in both PvE/Dungeon content, as well as the competitive aspects of WvW and sPvP.

We are a smaller more close-knit guild, and the majority of our members are adults, but we do have younger members as well. We do like to have fun and goof off, and most of all, enjoy the game and each other’s company. We like to keep drama to a minimum, but we hardly see it in such a close-knit community.

Currently sitting at 40 members total, and we’re about 10-15 active during weeknights (hey, we’re all adults and we all have day jobs), and usually 20+ during the weekends, where we spend most of our time doing WvW and Dungeon content. We are not a “zerg” guild and will not accept you without either an application or conversation beforehand, we don’t just blind invite anyone into the guild, nor will we retain all members who don’t meet our simple standards: good people, good players. We want to ensure that you’re a good fit for us, but most importantly, we’re a good fit for what you’re looking for. In the end, it’s a win-win for both parties.

We’re primarily a North American guild, I’d say 90% or more in the PST to EST timezone range. We do have a website, and a dedicated 50 slot Ventrilo server. We do have some additional information listed on the website, but it is still a work in progress.
