Guild Wars 2

I’ve played here 3 months back and played for a bit.. and I haven’t gotten very far.
So I know very little about Guild Wars 2.
I’m interested in this game again and rolled a Norn Thief.
I’m looking for a guild now to make new friends and make this game more fun!

Though I think I joined a not so good World? DarkHaven.
I’m willing to buy currency that you use to switch worlds if you want me to? Or did I hear that you can join any guild from any worlds from the one your in?
It’s up to you, I can join your guild from my world.. or switch over to you!

My requirements in a guild.
1. You must have a good few of active players in your guild so that I may be able to party with them and do things this game has to offer. I’d love to play with new friends, not solo.
2. A Mature guild. 18+ of age is much preferred but not needed.
3. Friendly people and people that love to talk.. I want to be able to get along with people and make friends in GW2 and do dungeons, WvW, Raids, etc. with everyone! This is what keeps me in a game, if I don’t make friends.. I quit fast for some reason >.<

The Sacred Nobility has that offer, though we aren’t fully upgraded nor are we large at the moment. though if you are patient enough to let our guild grow so we can provide you alot of nice people to party with.

Hi Addison! First off, since you are newer to Guild Wars, welcome! It is an awesome game and there are many great communities out there.

I made this guide the other day: http://www.madcastgaming.com/forum/showthread.php?13932-So-You-Want-to-Play-Guild-Wars-2&p=127494 for newer players. It covers things that are not explicitly mentioned in the tutorial. You may know some of them, but if not maybe it will help you out.

As far as servers go, Guesting is a really great feature of GW2 that will allow you to do everything with people on another server EXCEPT for WvW. If you are not really into that yet, you can join a guild on another server (yes, you can join guilds from any server!) and save Coin to buy Gems if you like, and transfer later. When I joined my current guild I was on a different server, so I just guested onto theirs until I saved the gold to switch.

To guest on a server, go to your character select screen. In the bottom left hard side is a button for select your server. You can click on any server on the list that you would. Two buttons show, one for guesting and one for transfering. Guesting lasts for 24 hrs or until you log out, so whenever you want to play on your guild server you will have to pull up the menu and select it. This is fast and easy though, so you will probably not find it inconvenient.

That said, I encourage you to check out my guild! It may or may not be a good fit for you, but from your requirements it sounds like it might. 1. We have many lower level and new players in our guild who would enjoy partying up with you. Additionally our high level players love helping out new players and would be happy to help you out and answer your questions.
2. We do not have an age requirement in our guild, but we do have high standards for the maturity of our members. The vast majority of them are over 18 though. Many are married with children, university students, or just out of university— a whole variety.
3. We have an awesome active TeamSpeak community. You will meet many fun people and make great friends if you hang out with us.

MadCast Gaming is a larger guild that sponsors several games, but we are a tight knit community through our forums and TeamSpeak. We don’t expect people to apply to be a full member right away without getting to know us though! If you would like, you can join our guild as an associate member. This means you will be invited into the guild and can come on TeamSpeak with us as a Friend of MadCast, and post in our forums. However, you will not have privileges like inviting other people to join the guild yourself (though you can always recruit people and ask a Full Member to add them for you), some parts of the forum will not be accessible to you, and you won’t have full access to all the TeamSpeak options like moving people and creating rooms.

Tonight our guild is doing a Bounty Hunt at 10 pm eastern time, and 1 am eastern time. If you are available, I’d love to invite you to join us and meet some of our members. In 2003 a small group of friends founded CG to play casually and focus our time on one game. It soon took off into more then one game and developed into what we now call “Crimson Guards United” gaming. Guild Wars 2 was chosen for its impressive MMO game play style which sets itself apart from most MMO’s and as of right now we have been openly recruiting on Jade Quarry.

Guild Focus: Right now our main focus for the guild is PvE Dungeoning, Dailys, Monthlys, and Group Events. Once we recruit more members into CGU we will shift our focus from this to Guild WvW and the newly added Guild Missions. We know some members like to do Dungeons or just PvE in general more than doing WvW or PvP so now members are required to do one or the other. Here with CGU Gaming we believe in letting every member do what they enjoy in-game and we believe in-turn thats what makes the Guild better as a division.

Division Requirements :

So, we wanted to set up a strong division here on Guild Wars 2 and so far its on the right track. We are currently accepting all skills levels and character levels. Our only requirement is 16+ years of age, to keep drama out of our guild so every mature player can have a fun experience in our guild. To join our leadership you must show you will be active, show you have what it takes to lead, and be able to promote CGU. It won’t we easy to start off but the leadership positions may go fast. We usually let our current active members on Guildwars make the final decision who they want to represent them.
