Guild Wars 2

Title says most of it. I’m a long time MMO addict. Sporting 4 level 85s and a level 90 on WoW. Was looking for something new and bought this game. LOVING it so far. Server isn’t a big deal, When i decided on a guild I will probably switch to their realm.

About me:

I work a full time job. (But usually able to play at work.)
I go to school full time (Going for Machine Tool Technology degree, Already have kitten Chemistry.)
I am a very helpful person, when I played WoW I was a guild chat moderator and the appointed Dungeon runner if someone needed something from a dungeon.
I am very chatty in Guild chat.
I am clueless about this game. I never even played GW1.

What I’m looking for in a guild:
A Semi-Mature guild.
More then 1-3 active players.
Family like atmosphere.
Doesn’t post a copy-paste guild invite in reply.

Also please give a name so I can whisper those I want more information from so I can get to know them more. Joining a guild for me is like picking a lab partner for the school year. It can’t just be “I’m X lets be partners!” It will be like when you go give blood and they ask all those ANNOYING questions.

Hey! You said you’d be fine with transfers, so I’ll be straight up and let you know we’re on Blackgate, haha. The name of the guild is The Dead Gods [Gods] and we’re a rather new, up-and-coming WvW guild. A lot of our members are still below 80, but a lot of them also have 80s. So it’s a mixed bag. At peak times we usually have about 12 members on, but that should increase with the member numbers.

We could really use a chatty person, as it seems only a minority in any guild talks that much :p Guild chat is usually pretty strange. The other day we were discussing…well, I can’t say what here. Just trust me when I say that it’s entertaining.

Here’s a video of us in WvW, with a few of us calling over skype. We’re looking to get a teamspeak server once there’s enough of us wanting to use it, but for now, yeah, this is what we have.

Hi, I’m with Hedonism on Ferguson’s Crossing. Right now we are on the small side but we are actively recruiting and growing and the people we do have are an outstanding bunch. Chat is playful but respectful and everyone is, without exception, helpful and considerate.

There are people popping on at all hours but 3p.m. to 11 p.m. PST seems to be the strongest at the moment. We are getting people into dungeons, doing Jumping puzzles and trying out WvW (though we are mostly PvE focused).

I would love it if you would give us a shot, I think we would be a fit because we are all about building a community/family first. Everyone is very helpful and we are all experienced gamers. Our members are all levels atm. The ones with 80’s have alts so you that along with level scaling would mean you’d have people to play with when you wanted.

Guild Leader

Hey Berlioz, I am Jaskra. I’m the leader of I Wanna Be a Super Villain [EVIL] a PvE/PvX guild on the server Blackgate and our guild might just the the style you’re looking for. I am also a former WoW player of 7 years, I played a Resto/Feral Druid primarily named Jaskra, and finally decided to move on to a newer game. Surprisingly, we have many members in our guild that are former WoW players as well. I spent a long time with great people in WoW, but it was time to move on. I have loved my time here in GW2 since the beginning of December.

I began EVIL with my boyfriend “Villain” in the hopes of creating a friendly family-like casual guild that had people that just wanted to play and help one another. Overall we just wanted to enjoy the game with others. I wanted to create a guild like I had had before in WoW. So far I think we’re succeeding and we plan on continuing to do so. We are really focusing on bringing in players such as yourself who are after a fun an helpful environment and like chatting in guild chat and on VOIPs.

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers. You can try out the guild by guesting, which is free, before deciding on changing your home server.

We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 169 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we

I decided to join The Dead Gods [Gods] on server Blackgate and love them so far.

First off my name is David, I’ve been MMO’ing for 15 years and have spent the last 3 years in the MMO Gaming Community of Tribe. Hello Berlioz, I can see you are looking for a family Friendly Guild, we are only around 50 members with 20 on daily, but we do a lot of dungeons and have daily events, while we are currently doing Guild Bounties on Sundays at 9 PM Eastern. We are on Fort Aspenwood and would like for you to join our ranks.
