Guild Wars 2

So I finally gave in to peer pressure and choose to play a MMO for the first time. I’m starting to regret that choice because I’ve become completely addicted to this game. But like the title says, I’m looking for a guild. I’d prefer one where they like to RP but I could live without it if the guild is patient with new players.

Since I already made a topic, here’s just a extra question if someone doesn’t mind answering it. What happens if I don’t complete the daily 5/5 event thing. Do I lose stats or something? Any help would be appreciated.

The Daily 5/5 event rewards you with experience, some currency, a jug of karma(buys items from vendors), Mystic coin(used in crafting) and a Laurel which also allows you to buy things from vendors. You don’t lose anything by not completing it other than those rewards. We’d be happy to answer any other questions you’d have

Synergy is an online community started by some friends with a goal to be the best. We have played multiple games throughout the past few years and the founders all have experience in high end World of Warcraft raiding and are active gamers in various genres. We are currently playing Guild Wars 2 primarily on the Jade Quarry server.

For Guild Wars 2, we participate both PvE and organized PvP in both WvWvW and structured PvP. Most of us have been gaming together since the days before Guild Wars 1 and continue to do so. Because of our long standing community, you will find that it is an atmosphere where everyone knows each other and learns to play well as a well oiled machine, hence the name Synergy.

As your question about the daily is already answered, I’ll just head straight to my guild. I’m with The Requiem of the Dead [REQ], which is a guild located at the Gandara server (EU). It’s best if you’re on this server when you want to join, but not a requirement…

REQ has about 250 active players and is ‘noob-friendly’ We dont mind helping new players and when you’re a bit more experienced we really like to play with you (dungeons, WvW, sPvP, world-bosses, way more). We’re quite a social guild, with many fun events such as quizzes, deadly darts and photo contests…

Heya! Writhe [WRTH] is a small casual guild looking for new recruits. We currently have 35 members. Most of our players are new players learning the game. We have a group of experienced players who help guide them through leveling and learning the game mechanics. There’s no such thing as a stupid question with us. I see your question was already answered, so I won’t bother repeating it.

My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie and we’re a smallish, bordering medium sized, social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of us also enjoy knocking some heads in WvsW and a touch of sPvP. Knowledge of, or participation in, RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.

We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.

You don’t have to move immediately to our server. Feel free to guest with us for a while and see if you like it. If you decide you do, we’ll help you get the gems you need to come home.

There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too. We do have a TeamSpeak 3, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.
