Guild Wars 2

My husband and I are fairly new to GW2 with our highest level toons at ~36. We have played many other MMO’s over the years starting with GW1 then moving in to WoW, Rift, SWTOR and others. While we have never gotten into elitist play or content due to real life restrictions, we are both competent and careful players. Our focus has always been pve with a little pvp sprinkled in. So far in GW2 we’ve only worked on leveling and crafting.

What we’re looking for….

A personable, dramaless, mature group of adults….the kind who know the dog needs out to pee, someone has to get coffee, and work comes early in the mornings. We’d like the guild chatter to make sense to us, or at least be explained when necessary. (after 3 weeks of play I still have no idea what fractals are, what the big deal is about guild rush, or how to even start wvw) I’m not opposed to teamspeak or vent if it’s a truly necessary part of a difficult event but don’t look for us to be active on mumble or vent for the sake of it. We can be chatty, but are often quiet after a long day. We would especially like a guild that doesn’t recruit every person without a guild tag just for the sake of inflating roster numbers. We aren’t looking to change worlds at this point unless Anet decides to make that a freebie thing. I’d love a guild that does group things with those that aren’t yet 80 too.

What we bring to your guild….

Steady, mature adults with a strong grasp of both ethics and humor. If you’re looking for psychotic crack heads, we’re not it. We play nearly every evening from around 6pm to about 10pm EST with more on weekends. Summer may see us more busy enjoy the beauty of nature, but I get the shakes if I go too long without internet so it will be rare for us to not be on at least a little. I’m not looking to be in 10 different guilds. I want one that I can be proud to represent and play with.
