Old dog looking for a new friendly owner
Hi Tharjax, I am not quite sure about your “clean” guild requirement. Maybe you could explain that a little bit? In my guild we don’t allow people to use language at each other, and we frown on excessive swearing/potty mouth. You will see people drop things like: “holy kitten” “w t f” “kitten ck” and things like that occasionally. I’m not sure if you’d consider that filthy talk or not. If that is considered okay in your book, let me know, and I’ll tell you more about my guild. If you are looking for completely “clean”, you might consider the Christian guild that has a thread going in this forum. As far as I know they enforce very strict family friendly rules, so that might be a good fit. (Can’t vouche from experience, but from their forum posts it looks that way.)
Anyway, good luck to you sir!
Hey thanks for the reply Red! Ya I understand that sometimes people cuss, myself included. But I have been on teamspeaks/vent servers where I hear stuff that I wouldn’t want to repeat.
You can probably use your imagination on what I am talking about
Anyway, ya go ahead and tell me more about your guild!
Well awesome! I would say you won’t hear stuff like that in our guild for sure. Let me go ahead with the details of my amazing guild then, MadCast Gaming!
MadCast is a gaming community that is bigger than GW2, but we are working on growing our GW2 sector right now. You can check out our website at www.madcastgaming.com. I especially suggest you read through the forums some to get a feel for what we are all about! Here are some points you may find attractive about MadCast:
We have a mature community. While MadCast has no specific age requirements we do have high expectations for maturity. You will find kind, patient people and no drama. The vast majority of our members are over 18 (especially in GW2).
We are a serious community with casual gameplay. In other words, the main expectations we have for members revolves around positive contribution to the community and not on a packed GW2 schedule attendance. If you are active in the forums and show up to a few events a week, that is good enough for us. Our community is made out of all levels of players.
We have a super awesome, active TeamSpeak group. We enforce strict rules of respectfulness and tolerance among our players, making it a safe friendly place for everyone. People of all types feel comfortable joining in the conversation and making new friends.
Our community is bigger than in-game. We have a website with a lot of activity and heavy forum use. This is a huge asset because we have people who play all kinds of games over at MadCast, and the forums really serve as the uniting factor among people.
If you check out our website, you will see information about becoming a Full Member of MadCast. This is not something you need to do right away. Our guild welcomes ‘Associate’ Members, meaning we will add you to the guild, you are free to use our TeamSpeak and join our Forums, but you do not have complete access rights for inviting people to the guild yourself, or accessing certain Full Member parts of our forum. This is a good way to find out if MadCast is the right fit for you before applying. In the long run, to gain any ranking position, we require people to be an official MadCast Full Member.
If you want to, I’d love to invite you to join us and meet some of our members. I would encourage you to join us in our TeamSpeak (you can find information about that here: http://www.madcastgaming.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?2-New-to-MadCast). Alternatively, you can private message me in game, and I would be happy to add you in to one of our parties. TeamSpeak is our main form of communication, and even if you aren’t comfortable using your mic, it would be great if you installed it just to listen to the chatter. Quite a few of our members participate this way.
If you have any questions you can message me in game, post here, or join our forums and ask there. Good luck finding a place for you! <3
Hey Tharjax!
Pandora’s Mighty Soldiers [PMS] is still recruiting on Yak’s Bend. We’re the GW2 division of a much larger community, the PMS|H2O Clan.
We’re a small, close-knit PvX guild dabbling in most of everything, but our focus has always been playing together. This is important to us, and if it’s important to you, then we’d be more than happy to have you join our family.
We understand that people sometimes get frustrated and might cuss, but we only allow it to a certain degree. When words get too heated, crude or crass, the person is warned, and will be booted if they repeat it too often. We’re all about making sure that our community is a safe and comfortable place for everyone.
For more information about us, you can check out: http://gw2pms.tumblr.com or head to our Forums.
Feel free to send me a PM here or ingame if you have any questions! Take care and have fun in Tyria!

What server are you on now? Maybe you don’t have to transfer
Hi
I don’t know if you found a guild already, but our guild seems to be a good home for you
We are on Ring of Fire, the name of the guild is Sectum Sempra [SS].
Our guild is small, but hopefully will grow and with the help of our members keep it as calm and friendly as it is at the moment.
We are currently recruiting players so if you have also somebody else in mind who would like to join us, they are welcome.
If you are interested please whisper/mail ingame to Ansu, Sballato or Kahuu.
Hope to see you in our guild

Greetings Tharjax,
My guild is called The Gryphons Aerie. We are a smaller, social, 18+ PvE/RP family on Tarnished Coast. Some of us also enjoy knocking some heads in WvsW and a touch of sPvP. Knowledge of, or participation in RP is not required. We’ll teach you if you want to learn, but there’s no pressure.
We know that RL comes first and stress that fact. We’ll still be there even if you can’t for a bit of time. We enjoy helping each other and doing things together when possible. All you have to do is ask if you need help with something and we’ll do our best to come to your aid.
You are more than welcome to just guest on our server for a while before making a choice to move permanently. If you do try us out and decide that you do like us, we’ll help you get the gems you need.
There is also no requirement to be representing us at all times. It’s not our business to tell you who you can and cannot associate with; that choice is yours alone. All we ask is that you give us some time too. We do have a TeamSpeak 3 as well, but it’s use is on a purely optional basis. Most of our chatter is on the guild channel.

Hi Tharjax. We are a smallish, down to earth group of adults who enjoy PvE. We are situated on the Ehmry Bay server and have no problems with cross server members. The only sad part is that cross server members cannot participate in any WvW events we may hold. However, we have only just started exploring WvW and mainly because a fair few of us want map completion and have a curiosity about how it all works. So you won’t feel left out as if I do post a WvW event I will always post an alternative option as well so we can all participate in other adventures together.
We have what I would call ‘clean’ guild chat. I’ve never really had to lay down a language rule ever, everyone one who joins with us just seems to fit so nicely into the guild that I’ve never really had to list one rule about respecting each other and about bad language in chat. However, just as an official gesture my officers and I are working on some guild guidelines which will be posted soon on our forum website, for as we grow, so too will the need to enforce such guidelines but for now, we are stable and the need to moderate the chat is non existent and we are proud of that (however I do have a good number of moderators in guild chat should an incident arise).
We are very social and guild chat is quite alive and full of chat, anything from the dilemma of what colour dye to choose for our armour to more serious discussions of crafting, map completion, character builds and dungeons. When there are people online, there is usually some kind of friendly banter in the guild chat!
We often group up for unplanned dungeons and spur of the moment world events or map completion activities. We have a small Ventrilo server which we use when in a dungeon. I am looking at perhaps expanding our server to support more people, but for now it serves us well enough.
We are a mix of Australians and US players and not to forget our Singapore member as well! My husband and I run the guild from Australia. We both work fulltime and most of our members work too so we understand about commitments in the real world.
If this sounds like something you would like to be part of, please do not hesitate to contact me in game for a chat. If you are from the US please also add Alserian Icethorn in game he is our ranking officer from the US and would be happy to talk to you about joining the guild as well.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards
Wynter Raven
Oh and P.S., if you join our guild you won’t be describing yourself as ‘old’ you’d have to get in line for that title :p (hopes no one from my guild sees this or I could be in trouble! hee hee)
We recently have opened recruitment to all North American servers focusing on PvE and sPvP. You can stay on your current server to run Dungeons and sPvP with our guild!
You can also Guest to Yak’s Bend for Guild Missions/Jumping Puzzles/Leveling/etc. with us.
If you are into WvW; we also have groups running this on the regular; however that would require a transfer to our server on Yak’s Bend!
