Hello Future Guild Prospects!

I have an 80 guardian and a couple other high lvl alts (eng/mes/nec).

I’m mostly interested in static groups for challenging PVE; currently interested in fractals. I finished my world explore within the first month of release and have my dungeon master title (theres little else I know of to vouch for PVE experience here, but I’d be happy to oblige). I’d be more than happy to list experiences from other games if needed as well.

I do PVP, though my lvl of interest is hinged on quality of the activity. I held battlemaster/arenamaster/gladiator titles from wow days as a frame of reference but other than some casual WvW I’ve not found a good group to hold my interest in PVP here.

I typically play support/tanky roles in most games, though I’m not opposed to other tasks.

I have multiple gaming rigs (for home and away), reliable internet, quality voice comms with immediate access to vent/mumble.

What I’m Looking For:

-Active playerbase for highend content.
While I may categorize myself as a casual compared to what I used to play in other games, where the majority of the gaming community or GW2 is concerned, I’m a ‘hardcore’ player. I am very goal oriented and put lots of effort into those goals. I have work and social obligations that come up but still play more than the average person.

-Competent and active leadership.
I’m a military person so maybe I just expect too much from leadership, but I want leadership that sets the standard for other players (through attitude and ability). Hopefully they too are part of the active playerbase.

-I’d be interested in getting in on a SPvP team (if legit) and more than willing to learn from any that currently know the ropes in this arena.

-I enjoy WvW but would prefer to attach myself to a large organized core.

-Stormbluff Isle server.
I’ve made some good friends in the guild I’m currently in (and on the server) that I’m not keen on leaving. The guild itself is however lacking for me which has lead me to look for other communities.

What I’m Not Looking For:

-While I have no qualms in helping other players, I’m not looking to run storymodes everyday or running WvW with only 5ish people.

-I’m also not looking to ‘get in on the ground floor’ of your super awesome new guild.

-Immaturity and complaining.
Knowing the difference between constructive and not constructive.
I’d prefer the ‘mature’ tag listed for your guild actually mean something, not just a box you’ve checked in.

Hey there, Im one of the leaders of The Merry Band of Gentlemen. First off, i’d like to say i admire the amount of effort you put into your post. And second that you will have to forgive me for the lack of effort in mine >:P

In all seriousness, we have most everything you listed as something you looking for, with the main issue being we are based on Maguuma. However, if you decide you’d really like to pursue the end game content, or if maybe you can convince your friends to come and join us, we would absolutely welcome another dedicated, active member into our guild.

NK WvW basic overview
NK were one of the handful of early guilds on Stormbluff Isle WvW. We coordinated and put in effort with other guilds + player to propel our rise to Tier 1 . We enjoy good rapport with many SBI guilds & players as well. NK are here to help our server through the ups and down and view WvW as long term endeavor.

We are looking for players with enthusiasm and willing to participate . The environment is low drama & not to intense overall. Mumble for voice. Its 18+ cause jokes etc.

Operations
As a operational unit we get involved in large SBI pushes or handle a particular zone of the map. We also send out Havoc squads for quick response and raids. Whatever the inclination … offensive or defensive groups many similar players for you to group with.
NK also have players that take on intel and scout roles to assist map commanders.

Buffs
We have Level 5 pve /WvW upgrades available daily. Keep fortifications and +5 supply are in que each time they lapse.

Timezone
Cater to all North American timezones. We also have some that WvW at Asian timezone.

** Disclaimer : Just a heads up, poor turnout for Stormbluff Isle WvW as a whole this week . Hopefully next week the server gets good turnout

Xen of Onslaught [XoO] is seeking quality members for our GW2 division via direct individual recruitment and small guild acquisitions. Ideal candidates enjoy PvP and will exhibit activity levels of 15 to 40+ hours per week. XoO is a multi-game, PvP focused guild that was founded in 2002 and has had continuous activity across multiple games since that time. Among other gaming accomplishments we had a significant presence in the original Guild Wars, being named guild of the week in October of 2005(http://www.guildwars.com/community/guildweek/gotw-2005-10-28-xenofonslaught.php) and participating at the world championships playoffs in 2006, being one of only eight US guilds to participate. As a guild we have demonstrated long term viability and experience in managing relatively high roster populations.

Primary Time Zones: The member base is primarily North American, with significant numbers in Europe and a small Oceanic region base that we would also like to expand. Our GW2 division is currently in the NA region.

What you can expect from XoO in Guild Wars 2:

We are a PvP focused community that will engage in frequent WvW on a competitive server and have tPvP teams anywhere on the skill spectrum from pick-up hot-join to high end competitive tourneys. There are PvX players in the guild and a good portion of the XoO membership intends to play through the PvE story and end-game content as well. We are an adult gaming guild with a matching atmosphere and will maintain this community philosophy in the GW2 community. XoO also has its own TS3 server with a relatively high population cap enabling it to support the community across multiple games simultaneously.

You will find that the XoO membership will help you push your game toward improvement whether you are a semi-casual player just trying to get decent gear and a decent skill level or you are a hardcore gamer seeking a competitive group to run with.

Requirements to join:
• 18 years or older
• Teamspeak 3 with working mic
• Desire to play and improve at PvP game modes
• At least a basic understanding of PvP concepts
• Ability to carry out tasks efficiently and effectively in a competitive setting
• Ability to follow orders when needed, provide feedback when needed and the common sense to know which situation you are in at a given moment
• Be mature, friendly and able to take a joke. This is a group of adult gamers who compete, laugh and work to improve together.
