Here are some expectations of applicants.

-Thick skin: We are vultures and will verbally and mentally trounce you on a regular basis if we find weakness. We call this “humor”. You may think it is verbal and emotional abuse. In addition, we are a competitive group. You will get yelled at eventually. If you can’t handle that, you can’t handle RLH.

-Personal responsibility: We are not here to serve you. You are here for the betterment of the guild. Getting max level and gear is each individuals job. While there might be people willing to help, there should be no expectation of us dropping everything for you.

-Hardware responsibility: We don’t want to hear why you can’t run WvW. How your roommate is is hogging all the bandwidth. Or the reason behind your inability to place a ground target. If your hardware doesn’t allow you to play your class to its potential then you need to take it upon yourself to upgrade it.

-Fast reaction time: You should possess the ability to change up what you’re doing on the fly at a leaders command.

-Flawless teamwork: We expect a strong synergy between yourself and our team. You need to develop or have the ability to develop this quickly. Being a fast learner or very experienced in mmopvp is desirable. With this expectation should come the realization that we do not allow alts. We want you to perfect the character that you’re playing with us.

-Strong interpersonal skills: There is a good chance you will eventually get into an argument with one of our members, as we do attract strong personalities. It is not the job of our administrative members to negotiate this for you, or to baby sit. If you aren’t getting along with someone, you need to work it out.

-Exceptional personal performance: This is typically the hardest part for people who want to be in RLH. We only take people who can consistently perform well above average in any situation.

-Guilds are a social endeavor: We are not here to please other guilds or players. RLH always comes first. If we’re forming up and need you, we don’t care if you have to drop mid keep attack, dungeon run, or tournament. When we’re doing something, you will find a way to be doing that something with us.

If you aren’t intimidated at this point, you might be the type of person we’re after. There are more requirements and traits we are looking for in a player, but this should give you a good enough idea.

Is it sad that I cannot find enjoyment in non group oriented instanced pvp after tens of thousands of scenarios, battlegrounds, warzones? Looking for more for wvw.

Would be really nice to add some Mes, Ele, and Necro. Will consider small groups of applicants, just don’t try to bring scrub kitten along for the ride.
