Alliance of the Forgotten Seas is a South East Asian guild that’s focused on World vs World.

Where are we from?

We are currently located in Sea of Sorrows, however have decided to move on from this server due to recent events that happen to the server.

Who is AFS?

We are a small guild with about 300 members currently and field around 20-30 people during our primetime on weekdays while during weekends we have atleast 50 people on before, during and after our primetime.

What is AFS?

We are not like other larger guilds where instead of zerging down our enemies, we preffer to keep our precense on field as low as possible and perform behind enemy lines and play with our enemy’s minds. To those who have played with us know how well we do just that.

What kind of server are we looking for?

Although many have asked or requested us to speak with thier server representatives, we preffer to make things simple and only request three things from any server that is interested in our services.

1. List the number of Active SEA guilds in your server.
2. Give examples of how those guilds have worked together in the past (for example produce a short 3-5 min video of yourselves).
3. Show us examples of how that server’s community is Strong and supportive of the guilds which participate in WvW for them.

AFS does not wish to be offered gold/money when we decide on transfering to a new server, we however wish for that community of that server to cooperate with us on the move when it happens.

How do we work together as one Unit
The Oceanics are using their own Raidcall server, but the Commanders from other Guilds are always in Contact with the other Guildleaders, if they need more forces, they will call out the numbers and even if needed the Guildnames.
The NA guilds are trying to give our Oceanic as best as possible Borders!

How i love those JQ recruitment everywhere ~~

Guess the real questions are

Does your server have bloodthirsty serial killers who go into a blood rage murdering and destroying everything in there sight?

Does your server have an unofficial overlord throwing out amusement like falling rain?

Does your server have the mafia organization Crimethink that uses intimidation and that Red is Dead attitude that we all hate and love?

And the most important question

Does your server have a Rena Mordsith?

I am Ajay Reckless one of the NA commanders on TOG at Yak’s Bend. TOG is a larger guild on the server does have a small group of about 8-10 Aussies that try and hold the line during SEA prime. About 7-15 others/pugs can be on the map and during this time you will find 2 experienced commanders even if they don’t have their tag on. Sometimes more people join but there is an ebb and flow of others but it is a morale issue. In our Tier we are up against 50-80 v 10. There has literally been people single manning BAY and wiping out siege until the enemy gets tired and builds 5 trebs against the guy. But that guy will still man his siege till its gone. If we had a consistent guild such as your you would probably find more hope in the time slot and more people rallying on the maps in your time zone.

We have a saying when overwhelmed’ “Be like a yak! Never give up!” Some great commanders are on Yak’s Bend and we work together through the Yak’s Bend Alliance to communicate plan and succeed. When things get tough we adapt our tactics. Yak’s Bend also has probably THE best reset of any server in the game. Check scores and ask other servers. We are also positive and respect our enemies and play fair.

If you do join you will be greeted like a hero because we are competitive and want to win. But you will be expected to be a team player and positive about our community.

Please note that after we got run over we rallied organized even harder and actually moved up to T3. Yak’s stick together. There is fantastic server loyalty.

I have been a player in the Yaks Bend server for several months now, I would just like to state that I have had a great experience dealing with the Yaks Bend community. The Yaks Bend community has always helped me through the game through the early stages of the game, to my current WvW state. I thoroughly enjoy WvW and play it whenever I can. Our NA prime time group is currently a force to reckon with and is currently looking for some guilds that play during the NA off times to rack in those extra points to push us farther in the rankings. As a normal late night NA player I have personally experienced many map chat and team chat calls where players are asking help on building or tagging siege so they don’t despawn for our night crew. Every time I log in game, I hear a story from different people about how just a few people held a keep for several hours over night versus 20-40 man zergs. The server has always accepted new members and guilds into the server openly and welcomed them in as if they were already part of the family. To wrap up my statement, I would like to say that I have personally had a wonderful time with the Yaks Bend community. Thank You.

Additional: On 3/26 I did have the chance of running into 2 AFS in SoSBL and I will say, they gave me a fight for my money. In technical terms I guess they had the right to beat me down cause I deep into enemy territory, but I have gone against similar odds and won, where as, these 2 AFS had no trouble beating me down haha. I wanted to bow as that was probably the best battle I had all day, but as I was dead, I could not. After the teamwork that I saw those two players use, I would assume that the AFS alliance has the same cooperation. To which ever server gets the AFS Alliance, it appears as if you will be getting a great addition to your community.

We had an AFS in our channel last night running around with us, I felt extremely stressed and in a position where I was forced to perform :’c

Kidding, but in all seriousness, if you want to be appreciated and supported while also giving us a much needed SEA boost, come down to Sanctum of Rall. The community, attitude, and ‘never give up’ ideology that we have will be in my opinion the best choice you can make. I dont know of any other server thats willing to wake up at 7 AM on the weekend just to support their oceanic and SEA population. On Sanctum of Rall, you will always have support and always be appreciated for the hard work you put in.

My guild is relatively new to the WvW scene on SoR and I can personally attest to the warm welcoming attitude that the other main guilds have displayed. If we’re running into trouble on a BL or in EB, other guilds are always willing to lend a helping hand and map hop to make sure we keep our objectives.

We would love to have you come aboard and work alongside our family.

Hey! Give Tier 4 and Crystal Desert a try! Our SEA/Oceanic guilds put in serious work and are top tier quality. I’m a NA-er myself but I appreciate the hard work our SEA players put in.

A few of the SEA/Oceanic guilds I can think of at the moment are
Red Lions Syndicate [SG], Pure Awesomeness [PA], Einsof Gaming [EsF], Knights of the Milennium Era [KoME], Not Another Gaming Acronym [NAGA], Equinox Solstice [TIME], Presence [Awe] and…. a bunch of others. These are all big guilds too.
