Guild Wars 2

Sacred Silver Blades [SSB] is a small, casual guild of serious players that marks it’s beginning in Neverwinter Nights on AOL in 1996. We are looking to build our membership on Jade Quarry with mature, like-minded people.

We are a multi-game guild, with members currently in World of Warcraft, Rift, Star Wars the Old Republic, and now Guild Wars 2. A small group of us have taken up in Tyria and are looking to build our numbers there. Many of us are working adults with families, so our guild atmosphere is pretty laid-back. However, we are serious about our game and strive to maintain an attitude of mutual help and respect among our members. We are not elitist, hard-core gamers. Instead, we focus on player development and lifetime membership and community. We encourage mastery of character (in all senses of the word!) and follow a “pay it forward” philosophy.

Membership in Sacred Silver Blades [SSB] is a truly unique experience. Some of what you can expect as a member:

1. A gaming family dating back 17 years! We like eachother so much we meet in Charlotte NC each year for Blade Bash, a weekend of merriment recounting the year’s glorious deeds in the game worlds we inhabit and our guild’s long history together.

2. Tangible guild advancement and reward. Our rank structure rewards the long-term, dedicated player. You start as a Merc (no we don’t pay you to join us =P) with an opportunity to prove your loyalty and dedication by becoming a Squire to one of our Knights (full members) and undertaking a personalized Knight’s Quest to become a full member of the guild. Then, it doesn’t end there, but continues on with leadership opportunity, Orders of Knighthood and Badges of Achievement. Not to mention the swag that is available to you in the SSB Store!

3. Access to the guild website and forum at www.sacredkeep.com and our dedicated vent server. Since we span multiple games, centralized community and leadership is a big part of who we are. As a member of SSB, you are a member of all the games we inhabit.

4. PvP based, PvE embraced. We come from a heavy PvP background, counting NWN AOL; DSO; UO, EQ1, DAoC and WAR among our many exploits. However, we understand the value of and enjoy PvE, too, and have embraced doing well in that, as well. Whatever your focus, you are welcome.

5. Crafter, explorer, hunter…we support all game interests. Our Legion system ensures you have a place to shine within the guild, whether you prefer farming mats and crafting; exploring every last nook and cranny for that last achieve; running events with guildies or hunting players in the Mists and elsewhere, your unique contributions will be known as a member of the Enlighteners, Plunders or Weaponmasters Legions.

6. Charity, honor, respect. We play the good guys, and doing good for our guildmates and our fellow players is at the heart of who we are. If you want to game in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support, SSB is the place for you.

Our primary goals as a guild in GW2 are as follows:

1. To grow the guild in both numbers and influence
2. To provide an effective, organized skirmish force for competitive SPvP; and as part of larger forces in WvW
3. To conquer the dungeons of Tyria as an organized group
4. To explore the world of Tyria and have fun together
