I’m not sure how you feel about transferring servers, but The Guardians are a PvX guild on Isle of Janthir.
We have social events, dungeon nights, and a regular fractals groups, plus we run guild missions and do a good amount of WvW. We have around 15-30+ on at peak hours. We recruit based on maturity not skill or class. We want mature members who are friendly to other guildmates.
The Guardians have been around for over a decade. We are a multi-game guild and we take new members very seriously. We have very active forums and we require all of our applicants to register on the forums and fill out our application.

We are an adult, laid back community of gamers, that have enjoyed many kind of games over the years. We all are now spending a lot of time playing GW2, and would love to see some new members join us. We are slowly growing and you will usually see 3-4 of us on in the evenings. This is a no pressure guild, just fun.
We do a little of everything and are here to have a good time. We treat each other like family, and help out a fellow gamer as much as possible. We have members that love doing Fractals, WvW, and just running around PvE.
We have a ventrilo server up so we can communicate as we play.

We, Modern Family, are a friendly and relaxed guild that plays on Desolation! The guild has a stable roster and originally started in WoW many years ago, after which we moved to Rift and now GW2. We keep our roster at a medium size of 30-40 members, so people get to know eachother well. We have weekly organised guild events: guild missions, dungeon run and a WvW night. Next to that we have a monthly guild meeting where we boost karma to the max for the jugs collected by everyone and have a fun activity along the lines of hide and seek, snowball fight or a puzzle. No events are mandatory to attend, you sign up when you feel like joining them.
We have a website with forums and a mumble server. We use mumble mainly during guild events and guild chat outside those.
