Hello!

A small group of us looking for the ideal guild. We are hoping it’s out there!
We are more than willing to move servers, here is what we’re looking for.

Adult/Family Friendly
Our ages range from low 20’s to mid 30’s. A couple of us are parents with younger kids that play with us. We’re a group that respects each other but can still joke and have fun. We want the same in a guild. No drama, we come to play and have fun. A website/forum to communicate rules, expectations, events, times, ect.

PLEASE READ
WvW/sPvP Focus & A server that works together
So many guilds have told us they have organized WvW. We join, it’s not what we were expecting so we move on. I’ll try to explain what we are looking for.

WvW Focus:
Several set WvW nights with a set time and a great guild turn out.

Organized:
Just because there are some guildies running around in WvW doesn’t mean they’re that organized.
Here’s an example of what we’re looking for: Guild group meets up, Commander(s) are assigned to defense and offense. Groups are made if need be. A guild that utilizes it’s AoE players, support roles, mesmer teams, golems and small groups for flipping camps, etc. (I’m sorry, but mindless zerging does get old, we like tactics and strategy mixed in there)

That is the type of thing we are looking for. We’ve ran with large zergs and we’ve played with small groups that just don’t have enough numbers to get anything done.
We’ve played on a few different level servers from t5/t6 to t2/t3. The level is not the concern, it’s how the guild plays.

Other things we are looking for:
Where there is WvW there is usually sPvP. Active sPvP’ers a must as well. We would love to be in a guild that has core groups that run sPvP regularly.

Guild Events:
Not just the in game events. We’re talking about raffles, trivia, scavenger hunts and things like that to have fun and support the community in the guild. A couple of us are more than happy to help with events!

Dungeons/Fractals/PvE
Sure we love to run them. We get our frac 10 daily done. We even like PvE sometimes. The point is, we all need some down time from WvW and like to get accomplishments done as well. Several of us are working on our Legendaries too.

I know this ended up long, but we are trying to find the right guild. Before joining a guild we would like to be able to talk to the GL on Vent or TS if possible. That way we can ask questions, get to know more, and so you can meet us

Check out Fist of the Empire [FoE] @ http://www.fistoftheempire.com. We are a 10-year old WvW focused gaming community. We have a 500 slot TS3 server, active forums and a very organized leadership structure. We are a hardcore WvW guild with sPvP and PvE mixed in during the downtime. We are located on Sea of Sorrows, actively work with other guilds, have a commander on almost 24/7 with members active around the clock (although we are NA based) on as well.

We are based on the principle of being a “good dude”, that meaning, we look for people we like to hang out with to be apart of FoE. We have an age restriction of 18+ with most members being mid 20s to 40s. We look for people we want to play games with for a long time.

Plenty of guilds on SoS fit your bill. I suggest you move to SoS first and try running with couple guilds. Since guesting will be coming at end of month you won’t want to be stuck on another server.

Hey, gav! I’m sure you hear this a lot but Dissentient sounds EXACTLY what you are looking for. DIS is a WvW focused guild that also focuses on Dungeons/Fractals located on Tarnished Coast, a tier 2 server. We hold 4-5 organized guild pushes a week and on off days we still rally about 30 members to roll around in WvW. During those off days we hold PvE/Dungeon events. We have specialized roles for different groups during our organized guild WvW pushes and are working to use more specialist groups once as our members grow. I lead a Havoc Squad that runs around and harasses supply and groups of 10- players that are not with the zerg. We don’t have a large sPvP scene but many players who have been trying to put together teams for sPvP. We don’t have a lot of raffles and things of that manner but it is something that we can look into now that we are hitting critical mass. We from Extraordinary Gentlemen [EXG] are an international Mature PvX guild playing on Desolation [EU]. As we are an international guild, we have members from all over the world. We mainly reside in USA / Canada / Europe and Asia! Therefore, we have members online at all times ready to do some dungeons or WvW runs!

As of right now, we have over 214+ Members inguild with a daily login varying from 130 ~ 150 members online and around 50 ~ 70 members online at the same time.

As we are a PvX guild, we are several Officers appointed to specific game types such as PvP, PvE and WvW. They organize scheduled runs through the week whom you can join if youd want to be sure to hit a party. Outside those scheduled events, we organize alot of guild events and other parties all the time!

Hi Gav I am an officer and community lead for Afterlife Gaming

We are a pvp based guild and community spanning a few games including aion wow and gw2.

We have been around since 2009 where we formed in Aion on Telemachus and have had significant success in mmos since. We are purely pvp based.

We have a good number of well skilled players and do have attendance requirements for wvw or sPvP raiding if you are online.

We use teamspeak for comms and expect users to use this.

We run on Piken Square Server which, as a medium pop server, allows us to enter WvW nightly as a guild with little to no queuing time and co ordinate with our allies effectively.

In return we will provide a pvp community, wvw raids every night with experienced raid leads and well established allies.

While a microphone is not a requirement for guild membership, we do require members to be logged into Ventrilo during any scheduled events. This helps us maintain effective communication while raiding, to ensure that each member has the most current information on tactics and strategies, and is able to respond to any instruction quickly and efficiently. It also insures we maintain our strong community bonds.

Experience
Many of the members of Valor are long-time MMO veterans. With this experience, we aim to provide guidance and assistance to any of our newer members, be it new to the game and the guild, new to MMOs, or just new to gaming in general. We will work with anyone that may have questions regarding gear, builds, or just general guidance on their character progression. All that we require is that you show initiative and a willingness to learn and accept criticism.
