Bonded by Fate [FATE] is looking to merge with another similarly sized guild on the server Blackgate.

With the release of the the new Guild Missions it has become apparent to us that we will not be able to accrue the needed influence in a timely manner to unlock even the first mission.

Rather than completely abandoning our identity and disappearing into the ranks of the already established, much larger guilds, we are looking to possibly find another guild of similar size and combine our numbers to see if we can increase our Influence to unlock these Guild Missions. This could possibly mean multiple merges, but at the moment we are trying to exploit every option we have before giving up and joining the larger guilds.

We are a small guild of mature, friendly players. During our prime-time (4:30pm – 10:00pm EST) we have about 10-15 members online. We do Explorable Dungeons on a regular basis, and are looking to expand into tPvP and WvW.

Conditions of Merge
Of course we would love to remain under our guild tag, however, we are not completely against merging into another guild. We ask that the leaders of any guild willing to take us up on this offer meet with ours in vent to discuss our options to come to a decision that benefits all parties involved.

Ultimately we just want to be a part of a successful organization of individuals without being lost in the throng of players of the much, much larger guilds.

This is cool and big of you to come to terms with as a guild. I couldn’t imagine leaving behind my tag and the reputation its earned to merge with another guild; it takes a lot of guts to stand up and say that. I hope you guys find the guild merger you’re looking for.

In the meantime (and as a possible alternative), I wanted to let you know that you can just have your guild members join another guild, represent them, and take advantage of guild missions and get the rewards from them that way. Then, you can either work your own guild up, or merge with them if you want to, but you wouldn’t have to give up your own group / guild.

My guild, [VZ], will have guild missions unlocked in a few days (we’re medium sized so we have the influence to research the stuff, it just takes time is all), and if you wanted to have your guild members tag along to help out and get the rewards, I wouldn’t be averse to that at all. The patch the other night fixed guild rewards for guesting, too, so you wouldn’t have to leave BG if you didn’t want to. Feel free to PM me in-game if that sounds good or if you want to know more.

Hello, my name is Veynor in game. I am currently a lieutenant in my guild, Infinite Desire [iDes] in charge of scouting out new members. We are a Blackgate [BG] Guild. We are currently looking for guilds who wish to merge with us, however we are also recruiting individuals to our group. iDes was originally a small tight knit group mainly focused on high difficulty dungeons and WvW. With our recent expansion due to the addition of guild missions, we will typically have between 7-15 members on at our peak hours; peak hours for us are roughly between 3PM-3AM as we have a diverse group of west coast, east coast and canadian players. Most of the senior members have legendaries. I am personally the expert in iDes on economics and the go to guy for running Arah. It is not within my power to invite, but I refer my recruits to the acting head of the guild DKetch.8926

We aren’t on Blackgate but we are a good size and we are on our way to unlocking guild treks. Social and community are our biggest focus but we do lots of PvE, WvW, and PvP as well. Our guild website shows a lot about us. We have about 100 active members.

My officers and I will be available to talk should you decide you are interested. We are very picky ourselves, as we have a good thing going. However, we have had guilds successfully merge into ours a few times and so we are very familiar with merges.
