Warsock here leader of [rB]. Our guild has been stuck at about 64 members split between NA and oceanic. I know some smaller guilds are out and about and I was wondering if any of them would like to meet with me about mergers. If I could field at min 30 in NA prime we can be really effective. We have really good commanders and leadership and just need the people who want to learn and work with us. Here is a little about us.
Reckless Bravery [rB] is a guild formed by a few friends who want to create a competitive community of similar minded gamers. We want to build a lasting guild, that makes an impact on our server and has respect from all fellow gamers. We intend to create this positive image with superior tactics and innovation.
Communication
We actively use VOIP servers (TS3) To stay in touch within the guild/server. Communication is a standard for us. The best relationships within a videogame are built in verbal conversations and battle. Communication is also paramount in tactical commanding.
Representation
Our guild requires 100% representation. I realize that this does not jive well with fairweathers, but it is necessary for us to grasp what we are trying to achieve. Reckless Bravery is building a community of dedicated members who are committed to being part of and building our guild into a force that is feared and respected. A guild is not meant to be an extension of a friends list to suit specific needs it is meant to be a bonded group of people with common goals, loyalty, and pride. [rB] is a tag to be worn with pride.
World vs World/ Structured Player vs Player
The primary focus of Reckless Bravery is PvP. We hope to be a cross timezone guild but for now our primary playtimes are NA and Oceanic Our commanders are very seasoned in battle but lessons are still everywhere to be learned. In order for us to be a well oiled machine in WvW commanders must have 100% support from our members.The battlefield is won by a team not individuals. Although it may be fun to chase someone from quaggins to spawn, you leave your team to pick up the slack or end up dieing to an unexpected zerg and we mourn your loss :*( Teamwork is key.
Tactical/Teamwork Training
“Practice makes perfect.” An old saying relevant in most situations. While I am commanding I do not have time to explain maneuvers. Stacking to apply; healing, might, retaliation, speed buffs, etc is very clutch in WvW. Combination fields give us an edge over inexperienced players and helps us to stay competitive with experienced players.
Code/Conduct
Anytime you have the tag [rB] you are representing Reckless Bravery as a whole. The actions of any member in this Guild reflects the entire membership base. This is why it is important to stay classy and speak tactfully. Whether you are in a dungeon, sPVP or just hanging out in sparkfly fen, you must remain a good representation of our family. Representing the guild is not something done just in game either. The ability to communicate on VOIP’s respectfully is very important.This is important even if other players are not being civil. Joking around is fun in good taste but you must be able to know what the line is and how not to cross it. We must also practice our values on the official/non official guild wars forums websites. As Reckless Bravery rises in notoriety we will become the target of slander and flaming. Despite this we must remain composed and respond respectfully and carry on. You stay classy Reckless Bravery.
Guild missions
Although we have not started any guild missions we are working on upgrading the guild to gain the ability. Guild missions are not a primary focus for the guild but it will be used as a break from intense pvp competition. Guild missions will be a stress release meant to be fun. If we suck we suck. No reason to waste time being sad.
