Guild Wars 2

Hey folks,

So I’ll be honest, I don’t usually go in for guilds in MMO’s as I’m more of a solo player but due to the nature of Guild Wars 2 I thought it would be at least interesting to join up with one. Now I haven’t joined a server yet but most likely will be looking to join a EU server so a EU guild is a best choice. I’m a casual player, certainly not hardcore so I feel I should make mention of that. But I’ve heard enough folks say that joining a guild as it’s benefits so I thought I’d give it a try.

Basically looking for a cool laid back group of folks, I’m not looking for anything hardcore but up for some fun, after all that’s why we play video games right? For the fun!

Anyhow, willing to check out any options. Like I said, haven’t even started up a character yet (will update once I do) but should pretty soon.

Update: So I’m on the Gandara server, I usually wouldn’t join a busy and highly populated server for obvious reasons but due to the nature of GW2 I thought it best (with dynamic events and everything). Name is Saiten Mar and currently an early level Ranger. I’ll think over some of the guilds, but I appreciate the offers.

We invite you to visit our guild and talk with us either in game or on vent. . What would it hurt? The majority of our guild is 21 and older, but we also have down to 18 of age. We are all working class and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American and Canadian time zones, but have a few Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all > Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. We don’t want to make the game a job, because that not what games are for. We are slowly rebuilding the guild at this time. We are looking for people, willing to help us grow. We are friendly and will do what we can or when we can for others in the guild. We enjoy new people, thoughts and ideas. Each new person brings a special gift or unique quality to add to the guild. We truly hope that you will join us and give us a try.

If you like to play other on-line games, we have guildies that may may be playing the games your playing also. We also have Xbox players and Ps3 players.

Hi there SaitenMar.

It sounds like you would fit nicely into The Misguided Misfits [LoL] guild. We are on the Piken Square (EU) server, and we have a casual/laid-back player membership rather than hard-core. Yes, the aim is to enjoy the game and have fun.

We are happy to accept any level/Tyrean race/profession and really don’t mind if you are a complete “noob” or a seasoned player. We also recognise that members will enjoy soloing certain things, and would maybe prefer to team-up for others. No problem.

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cozy laid back guild, if you dont mind to change servers.
We have members from Europe, the US, and other parts of the world.

We have 74 members atm, and we are steadily growing, but we
still maintain to keep the family feeling.

We have a mature member base, I would not mind taking a few
younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are small, we have a very active group of people
now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have weekly organized WvW/PvP, Dungeon runs, and even Music Night, and our members do all those activities together with other guild members every day as well.

We use RaidCall to talk, and a lot of us are on there on a daily basis as well.

We are a a guild for mature/relaxed players and we welcome members of all different playstyle. The game can be soloed a lot but it can be more fun to play with a bunch of mates which is how we see our guild – playing with friends.

Darkveil is a Guild Wars 2 guild for English speaking, non hardcore, mature players. Whilst we like to get regular events and raids organised, we also respect that our members have real lives outside the game and that the game is for fun and relaxation. We pride ourselves on a relaxed and fun attitude to the games that we play.
We originated way back in the early days of DAOC where we ran a fun and friendly guild doing both PvE and RvR. Since DAOC a lot of our members went their separate ways to different games but we have recently reunited for Guild Wars 2 as we believe that this offers the closest gaming experience to old DAOC RvR.
We like to run regular groups both for PvP and PvE and organise events for all members to join, at all levels. Having played various MMOs over the years, we appreciate the need for organisation for events but without putting pressure on the guild members.
We have a guild forum and mumble server which we use for dungeons or pve groups.
If you like to play MMOs, have a mature attitude and are either a casual player or semi hard core, then you may be interested in joining us for some fun. Please get in touch with us in game or via our forum and leave us some information and we will get back to you.
