Still feeling the free transfer effect :(
Free transfer Era? You mean how it was for the first several months after release? I find it alot harder to recruit now that it costs so much to transfer. There have been several great people that i wish i could have had join us but they just didnt have the money to transfer.
yeah i know were just gonna give in and probably merge with a larger guild lol. Like i said to me 85 is a respectable guild. We were actually decent at recruiting it just couldnt really offer any real incentive to stay due to not having everything unlocked and couldn’t offer the 24 hr buffs and stuff. We just realized in reality how many tagless ppl do you see running around anymore almost know one there was no real way to compete. Even a beginner never played before noob knows to join the guild with the most benefits.

We find most people without tags in the 15-25 areas. Those are usually the people that didn’t want to join a guild that spammed chat and would rather just find people to game with.
Since we don’t have everything unlocked right now, we just rely on having fun gaming together to keep people around :P
yeah to each his own i guess everyone has different strategies, i feel like the point of this post has been lost lol, though i pointed out we had difficulties, the point was that free transfers was not a 100% positive effect on the communities

Why would you be complaining now, after its been pay to transfer servers for a good 3-4 months already that the free transfers were bad for guilds?
sigh cause we tried to hold on to a string of hope but the swift sword of injustice was brought upon us lol. I know its been awhile it was just a spur the moment thought didnt know there was rule of time for a topic? (¬_¬) sorry for inconviencing you.

lol it wasnt exactly an inconvenience. Just didnt make alot of sense that paid transfers have been in effect for quite some time now and you are JUST NOW bringing this topic up. And i think its more so that the paid transfers (and how freakin expensive they are) are the problem. Not the free transfers they offered in the beginning. It wasnt untill transfers became paid that all of the recruiting really got that much harder.
