About ToA

Tears of the Ascended is a guild that has been around for more than 4 years. Our base membership consists of many friends from the original Guild Wars game that had one major trait in common…high end and challenging PvE play. [ToA] became masters of the end-game content and most challenging areas. Today [ToA] is a guild that is focusing on learning everything about guild wars 2 and becoming masters of the game but we also are looking to expand our knowledge which is where you come in!

ToA is growing and we are looking for quality players that believe in a strong community and think of a guild as something more than just, “some guys to play a game with”. ToA leadership is strong and extremely well structured with a desire to make sure everyone can feel involved. We want to take the time to chat with you and find out what interests you. We host events several times a week that get EVERYONE involved and doing things as a group. When we aren’t doing events we focus on dungeons and character development. In addition to this we are currently expanding into WvWvW which means there is something for everyone.

The requirements to join our guild are simple at this time. We ask that you participate in our guild events and do runs with us when you can. Currently our events are scaling up, so each week we are doing higher level stuff and right now you would need a character that is level 35-40. If you would like to participate in our nightly dungeon runs you will most likely need a level 80 character. We require Teamspeak for most of our organized runs. ToA promotes a friendly adult environment so you must be 17 years of age to join our ranks.

Update:
ToA is growing nicely. With several new great recruits ToA is getting close to 100 members now and we are incredibly active. Our Events schedule is growing as well and we have several nights a week where we get together and do large events which range from clearing areas to WvW participation.

Update 2:
Still growing nicely. With an additional 2-3 new members a week being accepted into our ranks we are over the 100 mark now and our dungeon runs are hitting an all time high with the new Fractal of the Mists dungeon.
If you are seeking quality players and are annoyed with pugs who cant complete fractals then look to join us.

Update 3:
A surge of new recruits has helped us develop more and we are doing more events. If you are a social person and enjoy jumping on Teamspeak to chat with others while doing runs then ToA will be a great environment for you.
