About ToA
Tears of the Ascended is a guild that has been around for several years and has roots that stretch to the beginning of Guild Wars 1. Our base membership consists of many friends from the original Guild Wars game that had one major trait in common…high end and challenging PvE play. [ToA] became masters of the end-game content and the most challenging areas. Today [ToA] is a guild that is focusing on learning everything about Guild Wars 2 and becoming masters of the game but we also are looking to expand our knowledge and diversity which is where you come in!

ToA is growing (curently about 130 members) and we are looking for quality players that believe in a strong community and think of a guild as something more than just, “some guys to play a game with”. ToA leaders and officers are extremely well structured with a desire to make sure everyone can feel involved. We want to take the time to chat with you and find out what interests you. We host events several times a week that get EVERYONE involved and doing things as a group. ArenaNet’s introduction of the new guild events has made us even stronger and we work as a group to accomplish these missions several times a week. When we aren’t doing events we focus on dungeons and character development. In addition to this we also have a group of members that regularly enjoy WvWvW which means there is something for everyone.

The requirements to join our guild are as follows:
- We are on the Dragonbrand server and we ask that you be on that server to help us earn influence and participate in all of our events.
- We require you to have an advanced knowledge of the game mechanics and a good understanding of your preferred professions.
- You need at least two (2) level 80 characters that are complete with high end/max gear.
- We ask that you participate in our guild events and do runs with us when you can.
- We require Teamspeak for most of our organized runs.
- ToA promotes a friendly adult environment so you must be 17 years of age to join our ranks.

ToA has had some great new recruits since this post. Our server wide activities have been noticed. We have a weekly lottery drawing and races through various maps for prizes.
