- Dedicated Guild Wars 2 Players (no MMO competition – this is killing GW2 participation in our current guild).
- Zero tolerance for drama.
- Players who aren’t elitists e.g. Toughness & Vitality is a must in every build.
- PVE, WvW oriented
- Life comes first, I work and have a family.
- Real sense of community

We are a semi-casual PVX, EST, NA Guild of approx. 120+ players on the Crystal Desert server. On a normal night during primetime, we have approx. 40+ guild members on. WHAT WE ASK OF OUR MEMBERS:
*Members must be over the age of 18 years old, as we are an adult guild.
*Members will not represent any guild other than Cynical, as we believe this takes away from the “community” feeling (personal gbank access excluded)
*Members must use Ventrilo voice chat during Guild Events or Groups (being able to talk is neccessary)
*Members agree to log on to the guild website at least once every other week to keep up to date with guild news and events. Members who do not log on after one month will be removed from Guild. We are looking for members who participate in the community, not lurkers!
*Members who are absent for more than a month with no post on our forums will be removed from guild, in order to keep the guild active
*Members must treat one another with respect and dignity, refrain from making racist or sexist remarks, and remember that when dealing with other guild members, real life takes precedence over game time.
*Above all else, we ask each guild member to have fun!!

While we do have players that play other non-MMO games (LoL, etc.), we are a medium-sized guild that easily welcomes newcomers and enjoys everything that GW2 will throw at us. Hey there mouse, I’m in the Dynasty Warriors guild on Far Shiverpeaks (EU). Like you I enjoy WvW with some occasional pve action. I also live in the central time zone! Even though it’s a EU server I never have trouble finding people. We have a strong growing community, all our players are dedicated to Guild Wars 2 as well, so our guild is not stretched out over multiple games. We have other members from NA, Australia, and of course Europe, so there’s almost always other guild members on, at least enough to fill a party at any given moment in game.

I only speak English by the way, and have had zero issue with communication.

The Guardians is a mature multi-game gaming community that was originally formed for Star Wars Galaxies. We currently have four divisions, and the Guild Wars 2 division on Isle of Janthir is recruiting!

We are a true PvX guild and run 4-5 Guild Events every week. These events range from scheduled dungeon night, to WvWvW groups, to jumping puzzles, to RP events, to alt groups.

The Guild Wars 2 division uses mumble primarily, but we have ventrilo servers available as well. We are also active in the alliance at www.isleofjanthir.net. We have 0 guild taxes, and fund all our events through voluntarily contributions. We are further involved in RL charity and exercise initiatives-we raised over $2000 for Children’s Hospitals in October.

Black Legion Mercenary Company [BLMC] is a semi-hardcore PvX guild with <100 members. Our definition of semi-hardcore is we understand members have lives outside of Guild Wars 2, but when we game, we game hard! We have a relaxed atmosphere with lots of laughter and poking fun at each other.

We are on the Jade Quarry server and our peak hours are between 6:00 – 11:00 PM EST. We have every upgrade for our guild, constant guild buffs, as well as a Commander for WvW. We also have a 100 slot Teamspeak 3 server and an enjin website with a forum and event calendar.

We are all working class and/or university students and/or have families to take care of. We are mainly American and Canadian time zones, but have a few Euros from England, Finland and other areas that came with us from Guild Wars(so International guild). We log on to have fun and relax, so I am guessing you would consider us a casual guild. We have people may do one or a mixture of all > Pve, Pvp, dungeons, and Wvw. I want to personally thank everyone who posted or contacted me via PM or in game about their guild. It was not an easy choice as there are a lot of great options out there! The responses were great and helps to re-instill the idea that community does exist.
