Hello, I go by Serakh and I am looking for a group of people to game with. I’m located in US Eastern (GMT -5). I’ve been a gamer since the early 90’s when my family got its first computer. Since then I have spent countless hours playing games and participating in various game communities from Simcity to Battlefield 3.
In 2006, I started playing EVE-Online and managed to get pulled out to 0.0 space fairly early on by one of the military corps in Intersteller Starbase Syndicate. Running frigate/cruiser and later force-recon wolfpacks through hostile territory will always be a highlight in my gaming career. ISS faltered and we tried to do our own thing elsewhere in the galaxy, but we became disillusioned with the game and eventually moved on to others.
Since then, we’ve played quite a number of other games and MMO’s, but over the years people have slowly disappeared and I am one of few active players left. Even I can’t play as much as I’d like, though I still game as much as possible in the evenings after work.
Now I have decided it’s time to look for a new group. I’m interested in a group that’s not so large that you don’t know who most of your comrades are. I’d like voice-chat and teamwork whether we’re running dungeons, sieging castles, or just having fun. I take my gaming seriously, but it’s not a job. The goal is to have fun. I want a group that doesn’t shy away from challenge and which doesn’t immediately blame others or the devs when things don’t go their way.
I’m currently on Fort Aspenwood, and though I would prefer not to leave a few friends behind, I am willing to move. I hope this post doesn’t seem pretentious, but I want it to be clear that my standards are somewhat high and that I take this sort of thing seriously. If you need a tl;dr and are looking for anyone to pad your numbers, then this post is not for you.
