We actively strive on forming an enjoyable and lasting community. Our motto is stay classy and honorable, help one another, and above all else HAVE FUN!! Drama, whining, racial or homophobic slurs, and any form of disrespect will not be tolerated. While we are primarily focused on WvW, we do also dabble in all the wonderful things Arena Net has placed in the game. We run many instances, sPvP, partake in group jumping puzzles, keg brawl, exploration, and much more!

If you are interested in joining The Republic, there are some steps you must take…

• You must be 18 or over. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

• Download Mumble. Mumble helps us come together as a community and to blow our competition away. A microphone isn’t always required, but you must have the program to be able to listen in during events. No exceptions: if you want to participate in guild events, you MUST have mumble. If you are looking for further help in setting up and customizing Mumble, check out our Mumble Help Page located on our website.

• Apply to our guild by clicking on “Apply Now” on our website’s menu. Once you have applied and have been accepted, you will be given our Mumble info.

We have a big WvW foray going on friday night. Make sure you get your Mumble set up by then so you can join the fun!

A very well organized guild. I hit level 80 a couple of weeks ago. I was not getting bored, just did not understand the WvW concept that well. These people know what they are doing. Download mumble, it helps. I have no mic, but listen to what is needed to be done. Before I would get into WvW and get kia every 5 min or so, played the other night, no deaths. Oh, and accumulated more badges in my past few days then I had the previous month.

I welcome all hardcore wvw players to apply with our guild. I extend the invitation to those who are interested but not yet sold to run with us on our wvw nights and see how we operate and do things.

Please note the voice program mumble is very important to us and is something that helps us organize and make friends within the guild. The community is very strong and in turn we want people to make their online acquaintances and friends within the guild and mumble is the catalyst for that. When Guild Wars 2 dropped I was in search of a new guild as my previous had dissolved. A quick search on reddit brought me to SPQR. I applied on the site and was accepted. This is by far the most active guild I’ve been in.

There is no pressure to commit your life to the guild, I play when I can and partake in guild events like WvW when my time allows. Never have I gotten any grief for lack of involvement.

I would highly recommend SPQR to anyone.

Sunday Oct 7- Free night

Monday Oct 8- WPVP @ 7 PM EST

Tuesday Oct 9- Dungeoun run led by Addison @ 8:30 PM EST

Wednesday Oct 10- WPVP @ 7 PM EST

Thursday Oct 11- WPVP @ 7 PM EST

Friday Oct 12- Structure PvP with Vivec @ 7 PM EST ( Extremely IMportant)

Next Saturday Oct 13: Raid World PvP night @ 6 pm est.
As you can see, every night we participate in some sort of activity. Albeit most is WvW, but as you can see, there is a dungeon night, as well as sPvP. One night last week the guild had a keg brawl. Hope to see you all soon:)

Another great couple nights of WvW runs. The Republic (SPQR) is the guild to be in for world vs world on Sanctum of Rall.

A guild that pulled me from the depths of mindless zerging who we all felt victim to when you are knew to Guild wars. This gave me a leader it gave me knowledge about the game, this guild gave me a the helpful cheerful environmen. Honestly, if you are tired of guild with bloody QQers who specialize in kittening about gear/class and how everyone doesn’t listen to them, if you are tired of mindlessly charging at WvW if you need a group of players who you can friends apply for this guild, it changed my experience I see why wouldn’t it do the same for you. This is guild is not your 400+ Uncle Woodies cult with bot commandos and single minded officers filled with potheads and uneducated teens, we hope that you are neither cause we don’t want you. Been with this guild almost a year, we started off in swtor and carried the sever on Ven Zallow, we then became a multi-gaming guild with a strong 100 active players or more but the diffrence was all 100 of those people knew everyone else, were not here for the numbers were here to have that strong core of numbers. Best strategic leadership I have seen in WvW is what drew me here. I have been having a blast since then.

An awesome place to come make a difference in WvW. No more senseless zerging but rather organized, clean, attacks and responses to help protect and take key locations for our server. We work with other guilds to make sure we are covering all bases and have a ton of fun kicking kitten Even when we arent completely successful, we have a ton of fun and theres always people on to do dungeons and world events if there isnt a WvW group.

People are mature, leader leads like us like a pro., we are doing some AMAZING fights in WvWvW. Organized pvp prety much every night! Join us, you won’t be disapointed!

So I just joined this guild like a week ago and tonight we were in WvW defending a tower as usual. All of a sudden a huge zerg of enemies blasts through the gates and walls and we rush to our defenses! We start building sieges like mad men, order our guardians to push them back. Before I know it, it’s 10 of us vs. 50 of them! Outnumbered, we stand our ground like the Spartans of 300! Sea of Sorrows.. we put their name to the test. I witness a miracle. The organization, courage, and will of the 10 of us left remaining begin to triumph and change the tide of battle. THEY BEGIN TO RETREAT! THEY BEGIN TO FALL OFF THE EDGE OF OUR CLIFFS! THEY BEGIN TO FALL IN VAST NUMBERS! THEY BEGIN TO DIE! Mwahahaha!

Join our guild and one day…The world will know that SPQR stood against all odds, that few stood against many.

Fun Guild, have been in this guild since inception and will stick around for the duration…..a long time. We are a group of fun loving individuals, join us on mumble and you won’t stop coming back. We play multiple games beyond Guild Wars 2. We definitely have no limit to the amount of fun we have on our channels just keep it classy and Mature.

I’m definitely enjoying the guild. It’s very structured, yet very mature. We expect and work hard to win, but we do so by working as a team. I’ve been playing MMOs for over a decade, and have never found a guild that mattered to me. This one I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being a part of, whether it’s WvW or dungeoneering.

I heartily recommend signing on if you have a good attitude, are dedicated, and want to enjoy a real team guild experience

You won’t find any quitters in this guild! We outwork and outfight enemies easily double our number with our coordination. And we accomplish this without any whining or crybaby antics in the guild. Leave the zerg guild activities to the children and come play with the big boys and girls.

There’s a lot of guilds out there that claim they are WvW But simply cannot produce either in organization, skill, comprehension or teamwork. Note I did not say numbers. Our mentality is this: How many WvW Players do we have vs yours. I may have 30-35 wvw players vs your 60, which you only have 10. WE win.

Also, the server is full, but if you wait till the wee hours of the morning, you can transfer over.

I’m only a week new to this guild. But I am thouroughly impressed. Not with thier World vs World cababilities. Not thier dungeon capabilities. Not thier PVP capabilities.

I am impressed with the Guilds ability to remain mature. There is absolutely 0 guild drama. And that to me, is important. We all play this game for fun, and you want to be surrounded by like-minded individuals when you play a game. If there is any drama, it is always adressed immediately, there is no stay of execution.

I love this guild. Despite the fact that this is my first Online computer game, they took me in, they helped me understand my guardian better and help me understand traits and the stats, helped me become an all around better player.

There is something in this guild that you cant find anywhere else. These people do not want to just be your guildmates or dungeon runners. They want to be your friend. They make you feel welcome and needed, especially during event nights. The community in this guild is absolutely amazing and deserves recognition as the single best guild. In all of Guildwars.

The only way for this guild to go is UP. So, during the Morning is the time where our server population is lowest, Transfer over to us and give our officers a shout out whenever they are on. I garuntee you, coming from a new persons perspective, that you wont regret your choice.

We have people that come from all walks of life, from competitive players, to collectors, to completionists, to casual players. This guild is diverse, having people from all corners of the world.
