I’m a mere newbie after dozens of rerolls to find the right toon. I have him now, a L14 ranger. I’d like the chance to be considered by Unrepentant, but have a problem. I am on the “Very Busy” server Gates of Madness. I’d like to transfer over to your server, but each time I’ve tried it’s full.

Could you offer any tips for times of day to attempt the transfer? The latest I tried was 11:30 CST, the earliest at 7am.

From what I’ve read on your forums, you sound similar to a guild I was in while playing WoW, and I’d love to find another group like that. Very active, but laid back and no drama or primadonnas.

If you can offer advice for getting a successful transfer done, I’d love to be considered!

And in bestest news, Wintersday is almost here…seems like the perfect time to stop wandering the back-alleys of Lion’s Arch, trading favors for lodestones and jump in with a new group of people to rock the content with!

People to rock the content with. Thats the ticket right there. How many of you spend time looking for pugs to do that fractal or dungeoun with? Don’t you wish it was more fun? Don’t you wish you could be laughing with us when a harpy sends Ironzerg flying into midair? Well you could be… It just makes the game better.

Speaking of grouping and such, something I really love about the U is that even when you’re not actively in a group, you still feel like you’re part of a big party. I mean, who can’t help but laugh when you hear about our WvW zerg train all following blindly off an insta-gib cliff? I was in queue at the time, saved myself some repair costs, but the effect (mocking) was enjoyed by all!

The BEST part is the conversation in /guild and in voice chat…sometimes, I forget to even play because I’m busy debating the merits of various bust sizes.

Then I lead the group to our deaths…oops!

Personally I stay off that bearskin rug. I know these guys and you can never tell what they have been up to. Pretty soon I will have been with the U for 2 years. Thats odd right? I used to be a guild/game hopper. I would play a game, and join a guild for that game. Now I don’t have to. I can play whatever game I want and still play with the same crazy people. People that make me laugh, and that I enjoy spending my gaming time with. That could be you..

So true, Lah. GW2 is my third major MMO with the U and I can’t count the number of smaller games I’ve run with everybody. It really is a great feeling not to have to start all over looking for friends every time a new game comes along.

Hey You! Wake up! It’s the day after Christmas and your firing up Guild Wars 2. Will you log in to be the only one in your guild? Or maybe there are a few people around and they don’t even respond to your hello. Well thats not me. I turn on mumble first, because I know there will be Ueys around. Going to drink some coffee, maybe run a fractal or play an alt. No matter what, I’ll be in good company. Will you?

And for all of you lucky dogs who got GW2 in their stocking this year, check us out. We’re a great group of players, with folks at all levels, people with alts and just looking to play.

I’ve only recently joined the fold with a branch guild, but I can say that Ueys, regardless of which branch are an awesome bunch of people. There’s not many more awesome ways to end a dull, boring day than grabbing a drink, kicking your pants off, and hitting up a game with other Ueys.

We’re still lookin’ for “chill peeps” – do the kids still say that? – to join us in PvE and WvW shenanigans on Stormbluff Isle!

If you’re tired of 1337speak and hearing the same tired epithets hurled towards your mother, you’ll fit in well!

I’d like to add the greatest thing about this guild seeing as I’ve been in it for 3 years now. This is the best decision you will make. This isn’t just a guild, it is a social club with real people from all over the globe. We help each other out, share recipes, talk about personal stuff, funny stuff, and game in everything. Some of us stream, some cosplay, some of us always attend the big events of E3 or PAX. We have doctors, accountants, bartenders, authors, business people, dog walkers, programmers, and people from practically every walk of life.

The application process is difficult, but it is essentially assessing whether you can be with us FOREVER. We are a mix of laid back and hardcore. If i could provide a decent analogy, it would be like joining the cast of Cheers…where everybody knows your name or in the least, automatically assumes you’re a great person. The group is 3600 members, about 500 fairly active, and about 80 in GW2. There’s about a 60% chance of getting into the group, but if you’re friendly, engaging, and active for the week or two during your application, there is no reason you shouldn’t get in.

That being said, we are a group that cares more about substance than success. If you’re looking for a club for all games past, present, and future as well as just a safehaven for life in general, we would love to meet you. We understand that if you want something more hardcore, you will need to run with another guild from time to time. We are friends and we get that. Welcome to your new home.
