Guild Wars 2

Vagabond Daggers is newly formed by a couple of old (Army buddy) veterans of DAoC, WoW and a pastiche of other games.

We believe a guild is the most important decision you can make in a game. Your guild is your support while playing, and should make the experience better for you as a player. We need others who see the importance of giving a hello and goodbye when you log in and out. We need others that value helping others. And as you get – so should you give. Nobody likes a leech or a selfish crybaby.

Games should be fun – we all have jobs already. There’s no mandatory roll-calls, no login requirements on some website, no mandate to wear guild colors, no proscribed roles or builds that you have to use. it’s a game for crying out loud. Here’s our rules: no drama, and don’t be a jerk.

We play at odd hours and do odd things. Some days it’s all about the WvWvW, other days it’s about watching the animation cycle of an NPC in some out of the way cave. Some days we can’t make it to the computer and others are 12-hour marathons. Sometimes we group and sometimes we prefer to do our own thing.

We attempt the ludicrous. We celebrate both the epic failure and the impossible victory. We’ve taken to the battlegrounds as Avalonian Paladins and have danced as gnomes, butt-nekkid at the gates of Orgrimmar. We play our games for the sake of fun and we would like to expand the ranks to include other mature players who know how to do the same. We would also love to have members from other nations as well! Multinational guilds are just awesome.

We have no website. We’ll probably get a vent server soon just to make commo in WvWvW less of a cluster. We have no desire to maintain a strict order and mandatory check-ins. We don’t care if you are in other guilds, or are the worst player of the stupidest build imaginable (actually – that might be a bonus).

Again, our rules are simple: no drama, and don’t be a jerk.
