Focused on brining its members top tier content in a mature and RP friendly environment we look towards the end game and PvP aspects of Guild Wars 2 while placing the highest value on the actual person behind the keyboard. A no drama, RP light, content driven guild…

•Stationed on: Tarnished Coast
•We are a medium sized guild with the intention of doing more with less and quality over quantity (70-100 active members post launch)
•We have a dedicated Ventrilo server and website
•While end game PvE and PvX is our goal we enjoy all aspects of game play and the road that leads to such including light RP and a range of social events within the guild
•We cater to an “older” crowd with an age requirement of 18+ (our average age being 35-55+)
•While the guild founder resides in the PST time zone we will cater to and support players from all over including events held across various times of play

Vanquish Members:

You will find the members of Vanquish to be an active and driven group while selflessly helping one another and putting their guild mates ahead of themselves at all times. As a leader within Vanquish I could not ask for a finer bunch of people to share in the adventure that is GW2. Within our ranks we have a wide range of of people from Phd’s to stay at home moms, from law enforcement and active military to full time students, writters, self employed individuals, martial artists, chefs, editors and everything between! A solid and diverse group that all share the common goal of enabling the fun of one another!

Vanquish Leadership:

Vanquish was founded by and is lead by Commander Oakos. The leaders of Vanquish will follow a “guild first” philosophy forgoing playing entirely for themselves and putting the guild and its members ahead of all else. Helpful, understanding, transparant and confident the leaders of Vanquish drive the guild ever forward in order to take their membership from where they have been to where they have not!

An update on our guild and to prospective applicants!

Since my last post we:

- Are looking for 10-15 more like minded individuals to join our ranks!
- Have compleated all dungeon Story modes and the majority of Explore modes
- Have established a strong pressence both in sPvP and WvW
- Have continued to make a name for ourselves on The Tarnished Coast
- Have built our membership up to ~ 70 active, no drama adult gamers looking to get the most out of their time in game!
- Have implemented static event nights across multiple days per week
- Are planning our first server wide, open invite event!

With the release of The Fractals of the Mist we have been pushing hard to move through the tiers as well as keep on top of our daily explore runs! That said we are on the look out for new and great members to help fill out the ranks, especially late night gamers or those in Oceanic time zones. While our prime time remains 5pm-11pm PST we have a solid core of “2nd shift” players and are looking for more!

Wintersday is upon us and holiday cheer abounds! On behalf of myself and Vanquish, Merry Christmas Tyria! The guild is going well as we continue making a name for ourselves on the Tarnished Coast. Wintersday has come and gone, the toys were amassed and the instances run! We had a blast and and I hope you did as well!

In every game I play, I always look for guilds with an older player base, especially those that have been playing MMORPGs for as many years as I have, where I don’t have to filter what I’m saying, and the people are friendly and helpful.
