Guild Wars 2

About Us:
Warlords is a group of friends that have met over the past 5+ years playing Guild Wars 1 and we came together to form what we hope to be a great Guild Wars 2 community. Currently we have about 35 members and are looking to grow.
At Warlords we want to run a guild that believes in something, a guild that adheres to what we like to call “The Guiding Principles”, which are:

Friendship, Loyalty, Respect, Support and Maturity.

Friendship – Willingness to play with each person in the guild and get to know something about them, something other than what they do inside of Guild Wars 2.

Loyalty – Loyalty builds even stronger friendships. This is your home, represent us in all that you do.

Respect – Mutual respect for various styles of play will help everyone grow. Allow yourself to be open to all styles, try everything at least once.

Support – Make a point to help others when you can, remember that Guild Wars 2 has designed it so that you earn experience no matter what area you do.

Maturity – We are a group of adults and as such you will be expected to act that way. Remember that sarcasm, joking and various forms of harassment are what guys do when they get together and have fun. Today they call it trolling and regardless of what you call it you should expect to see some of it here, if it makes you uncomfortable or angry, talk it out and/or get leadership involved.

When it comes to gaming everyone wants a drama free environment, saying it is almost cliche these days but there is only one way to really achieve it —
I plan to grow this guild slowly taking time to get to know everyone BEFORE they become a member of the guild. It’s important that someone fits in here and makes the decision to live out the Guiding Principles.

Warlords is an adult environment. We ask that all applicants be at least 17 years of age.

What we do:
Currently in the early stages of the game each of us is working on character development at our own pace. Each person logs in and does what they feel like, we often group together to complete areas and do some personal story quests. At this point we are not farming or doing dungeons on a nightly basis…BUT we will be. Currently we host events twice a week to get everyone involved and doing runs together.
For all events and groupings we typically get on vent with each other and chat while playing.
Once everyone is comfortable with their character development we will begin doing dungeon runs and event chains that help us to farm gold/items quickly.
We also have a small base of guild members that have an interest in WvW so we will on occasion get together to do that as well.
