Guild Wars 2

Hello friends!

I’m Zoose, and I was one of the most popular GW2 streamers for spvp about a month ago. Some of you fine people may know me from playing Elementalist and showing a lot of neat little tricks about how to play one. I even made a nice little guide for D/D ^^.

Unfortunately, I don’t have faith in the spvp for this game any longer, and just wish to play GW2 in my off time for fun. Some of you may know me, but if you don’t, I also streamed a lot of WvW on the side with a small group (3-5 people) and we would go around wrecking zergs of 20, 30 sometimes 40 or more by ourselves.

I am looking for a guild that’s laid back, and fun to talk to, but doesn’t zerg around like a huge unit because IMO that’s boring and I don’t want to stream 20 FPS fights that show little to no individual play as it’s just a clusterbomb of people.

I’m down to play whatever, we can do fractals too, but I’m a PvE noob, be warned. I do have a lvl 80 Ele though. ^^

The best bets for that style of play that I know of would be RIOT and AoN =) Both have youtube channels (tons of footage from RIOT) so you can see them in action.

EDIT: I should mention that those guilds are (I think) in Tier 1 and Tier 2 respectively, so you probably will have a harder time winning a 4 vs. 30 in those tiers. That said, they would be the guilds I know of to give you the best chance.

Me and another 2 are US time based player though, rest is EU. We used to have no more then 15 players during wvw, but numbers dropped to 5-8 or something.

We recently dropped down in tiers for this very same reason… with this new “patch” every single top tier is full of 50-60 zergs all around and we’re looking more for small scale.

Join one of the lower tier servers. The zergs are smaller and there is more small group action to be had as opposed to the constant zergballs in the higher tiers.

Also, if you’re a cute east asian girl then come play with us on HoD. We only run small man groups. (3p-6p) If you’re not a cute east asian girl then… well I guess you can come play with us too, but I wont flirt with you nor take you on romantic walks on the beaches of the Cursed Shore. Well I most likely wont, but sometimes I like to have a drink and weird things happen. :|

You’re quite the interesting personality, Aza. Quite. Also, my girlfrann is southeast Asian, and if that counts towards you desires, I implore you to control yourself in her presence.

That being said, there are a lot of small-man guilds that run around on HoD doing their own thing. I know that my own guild, Valkyria Immortalis, prefers to run around as a guild group, whether it’s 5 or 10, and just wipe zergs twice our size. We don’t tend to run around with the masses as its a lot less entertaining and a lot less strategic for us.

Things we do:
Hold Ogrewatch against NSP with only 5~8 people for 4 hours on reset night.
Last night we went into NSP’s bl because EB was getting too zergy and just attacked hills to provoke them so we could wipe them
Take Durios while other servers hold SM. For the lolz.

And a bunch of other kitteny WvW stuff.

Haha, you should do it. Even if you don’t want to join our guild, there are a decent amount of other small guilds on HoD that also like to roam and take on larger numbers.

The video you posted sure is a good one. But at the current state of the game that doesnt work anymore. Since the fearless zergs will run at anything like a blind rhinosaurus till something hits.
AoN is always lookin for skilled and like minded players. Most servers know of us. We aim to do 5v20+fights all night when we run.
This isnt a recruitment post but as i said earlier we are always looking for like minded and skilled players. So if you still lookin for that kinda guild fire me a PM and we can chat a lil.

Awesome vid! I’m from Northern Shiverpeaks (T7) and there’s alot of nice small man fun to be had here. My guild usually runs 2-5 mans, and sometimes we have a few friends come along (just whoever’s online and wants to roam).

We’ve been looking for an ele to run with us for a while now. The guild is small, but we have a few really skilled players and everyone is super laid back (no ragers etc). We just want to pvp, improve and have fun. So if that’s something you’re into we’d love to have you run with us

I’m on NSP, and I can say that out of all of the servers we have fought we straight up outclass them in small group play (including AR, who have manvil members that are high up there in sPvP that I have dueled for hours) and go equal if not completely dominate on an individual scale. Our servers guilds are SPCA, tM, XOXO, SPLT. All of these guilds play together in groups of 2 to 5 and there’s no drama or pointless bickering, so no matter when you play you’ll always have good people to play with in terms of skill and attitude. People are free to criticize without egos being involved as well. We also have PAXA, who are currently on HoD just to fight NSP groups. They’ll transfer back whenever they choose to but they’ll tell you the same

On the whole we are many ex sPvP’rs who had originally bought this game to actually play sPvP. Personally I got bored of it after I got to rank 20 in the first two or three weeks and started solo roaming wvw and then eventually moved onto small group pvp. We have extremely top tier guardians, mesmers and thieves (not because they play those classes but because they play those classes better than others) and having an ele would be good as well for the disruption they can cause.

We are currently T7 fighting GoM and HoD and we don’t do romantic walks with them but we can throw them in the trunk with a shovel and take them for a really really long ride to the beach

Since you are being quite kitteny, I have no choice but to respond.

I have only been on HoD for a week and so I have only come across 2 of the guilds you mentioned. They are not small-man guilds. A small-man guild that wipes to even or even slightly superior numbers doesn’t come back with more and more until they can finally win. That makes them raid-babies.

A small-man group will go back to that fight they wiped in with the same numbers and see how they can improve and win.

Hey man, I just caught this post early in the morning before I had to head out, so I unfortunately don’t have long to post. You really should consider the Dead Gods on Blackgate, mainly because of how laid back we are. We are WvW focused, but we hardly ever take it too seriously.

RIOT and AoN. RIOT is in tier 1 so i would consider AoN in tier 2 (Fort Aspenwood) for a better chance of getting good fights. Good luck man!

Hi Zoose. IF you think you can keep up with us, AoN can 5v25 easy-breezy. Need you to communicate well, and be capable of viewing the group as a whole and as an extension of yourself. Talk to me if interested!

XOXO is a small scale WvW guild that enjoys brawls of the type you are looking for.

Also, SPCA on NSP Server are wonderful players who love frapsing and killing and frapsing and killing.

Edit: I see you are looking from over the fence.

I’m sure you understand in WvW you can not small scale PVP all day every day and that you will have to run with an into zergs once in a while. It’s jsut how wvw works.

Also, Now looking back on these posts I see you have already received SPCA videos.
