Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone.

I’m newish to GW2, but so far really enjoy playing it.
What I’m missing, is a few good friends to play and explore GW2 with.

I briefly joined a couple of guilds, but most of the players seem to be still at school, and the chat box was soon overflowing with bad English and conversations about homework!

In short I am looking for a small, friendly guild of active, mature players, on an English-speaking European server. I am +2 GMT, and mainly play during the afternoon, I mostly play PvE, but am keen to try WvW. Not interested in hard-core gaming guilds that kick people for not logging in for a couple of days.
Currently I am levelling a ranger (level 41) and a warrior (level 32) and struggling with a Mesmer which I like a lot but is a bit squishy!
At the moment my characters are on the “Ruins of Surmia” server, but of course I’m quite willing to transfer.

Hello Suldren, sounds like you would fit right into our guild. We keep a roster of 30 players so people get to know eachother better. Most will be online during the evenings and weekends due to work and college, but some are online during daytime. There won’t be much chat about homework (I have seen none), as the age in our guild ranges from 17 up to 48 with the majority of people having a job. We organise dungeon runs and soon WvW runs (they are scheduled) but there is no obligation to attend anything. You can find a bit more information about us on our website: modernfamily.enjin.com .

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cosy laid back guild.

We have only 24 members atm, of course we are willing to grow a bit more in the future, but still keep the family feeling.

All our members are 18+ right now, I would not mind taking younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are small, we have a very active group of people now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have RaidCall, and all actives are on there on a daily basis as well.

I am one of the founders of “House of Anarchy” in the Gandara server.
We are a small Guild (3 people at this moment). But we are looking forward to grow into a nice community. We host organized WvW and Dungeons nights! Also we help each other level up and share our crafts to better equip our characters. We have guild bank and emblem. Our goals are keep on increasing the influence to be able to upgrade for the emblem armor and weapons, also to get the specific banners that boost WvW and economy, while enjoying playing.
We want active people in the guild that makes it a fun place. We are open for suggestions and ideas. We will open ranks and allow for more responsibilities depending on how implicated you are. If you want to chill and enjoy is fine with us, if you want more, then go for it!

I run a guild on Desolation. We’re a small guild of about 30 people, named Brothers of Aesir [BoA]. Our aim is to build a community together, forge strong friendships and play this game for years together. There’s always a core of us on TS in the evenings chatting and playing together (you can normally find anywhere from 5-12 of us on TS and we’re poking some of the others into coming on regularly)

We’re 18+ with a one week trial. We do accept under 18s too, but they have a two week trial just to make sure we know they’re mature enough to not cause drama or dishonour the Brothers of Aesir name in game.

We WvW nearly every night, we run dungeons nearly every night, we level alts together (well me and the other co-founder are, we’ve got a couple of level 80s that tag along and make sure we don’t die to much :P)

We’re UK based although our membership has slowly spread to include places such as Sweden, Norway, Poland and Estonia. I’m sure there’s at least one or two more nations that I can’t remember right now!

What we’re looking for in members is essentially someone who will chat on TS, have a laugh with us, run some dungeons, have a bit of a lark about, then get serious and partake in wvw when we go in. We form as many 5 man parties as possible, (usually we have 1 full party and then a half full party) and essentially raid camps, kill dolyaks, disrupt supply and occasionally take an undefended tower or two.
