Guild Wars 2

so i accidently gave a guy in my guild leader ship and i have no power in switching roles and the problem is he never is online and i have no way of gettting hold of him. Is there anyway that i can regain my leadership?

How did you accidentally promote him AND demote yourself?

If you are still at the same rank there is not difference other than the fact that he also has the same rights as you.

There is no way to reverse this, nor can people of he same rank kick each other (which I think is brilliant btw)

i was trying to promote him to a higher rank but i was being careless and sliped up and no i got switched to the lowest rank..

so i guess i hope he logs in soon and is nice enough to give me back leadership :/

I have seen posts about this a few times now.

I really really hope that something can be done to prevent this in the future, like a pop-up warning to confirm the promotion.

i agree a warning would be nice but also did u read anything about seeing a fix besides the other player doing it?

Im sorry to say, no there seems to be no fix possible…

What you can try is to submit a support ticket, you might get lucky..
