this is not the first mmo i’ve played but the first one i’ve actually enjoyed. i’ve played a few others but not much at all so i’m fairly new to this genre.

never could get into any others, maybe cause i played them like single player games.

I’m not looking for anyone to hold my hand, I guess i’d like to find a group of people to really get the full enjoyment out of this amazing game. so far i am absolutely loving it. even though i’ve only been playing alone.

I’m in my early 30’s and do prefer to game with people around my age.

i suppose i’m looking for a guild that’s a bit more casual and won’t kick me out if i don’t log on for a day or two.

I’m on the Henge of Denravi server and would prefer to stay here but would consider switching if i thought it’d be worth it.

I’m playing as a Warrior, which is totally unlike me. i tend to lean towards more magic based characters but just thought i’d give it a try and really enjoy it. also i’m only level 8 at the moment, but i did just get the game a few days ago.

Since you might consider switching servers, i’d like to invite you to check out Cynical on Crystal Desert Server. We are a NA based PVX guild with a focus on PvE and WvW. We currently have approx 80 members, most of which are in their 20’s and 30’s, and are adults going to school or working full time.

We are a casual guild, and we realize real life comes first, so we would not kick a member for not logging in for a few days. Because we try to keep our guild filled with active players, we do ask our members to let us know if they will be absent from the game for weeks at a time though :P

Cynical runs structured PvE Dungeon groups, exploration groups, and WvW groups on a regular basis. We are a member of a 14 guild Alliance, and have large scale WvW events every weekend, and throughout the week.

We have a number of members leveling new characters, as well as some new members leveling their first characters such as yourself, so the opportunity to group up with others for map completion exists also.

Cynical uses ventrilo for voice chat, we have full guild bufffs available for our members, and a max sized Guild Bank with lots of gear and items for new characters and alts!

I have read your post and wanted to reply and offer you a spot in our small cosy laid back guild.

We have only 24 members atm, of course we are willing to grow a bit more in the future, but still keep the family feeling.

All our members are 18+ right now, I would not mind taking younger members, as long as it wont be the majority of our roster.

Although we are small, we have a very active group of people now, we play every day and mostly play together in party.

We have RaidCall, and all actives are on there on a daily basis as well.

Our guild, twisted descent, is just starting to recruit members. We range from mid twenties to mid thirty’s. We’re just looking for a small group, 15-20, who have night time / evening schedules, spouses, children. My gf and I have a 3yr old so we’re mainly on in the evening into the night. Heroic Heroes of Heroism was founded by several friends who have known each other, and have gamed together for well over 10 years. Kick you out if you don’t log on for a day or two? Wow. I don’t think I’ve kicked anyone for not logging into the game. Our forums, on the other hand, are another story. When people go two-plus weeks without turning up (and haven’t previously said they’re going on holiday, leave, study, etc), I tend to let them go as they’re no longer showing an interest in their guild community.
