A suggestion for candy nodes next time!
“I think it would be a cool/cute addition since we all know we eat them like that :-p”
People don’t actually eat candy corn. It just gets passed down from generation to generation.

That’s a really stupid thing to say. We eat candy corn in my house here every year. You should try the flavored candy corn. There’s caramel apple, caramel, and raspberry to name a few. It isn’t all orange, yellow, and white you know.
Still not a clue what candy corn actually is.
huh? candy corn is a thing?
Edit – did a google search. what would you know it is a thing. the more you know. lol

Caramel apple wax is still wax.
I have 5lbs of candy corn arriving today so I can complete my Monthly Achievement.
I think this would be an awesome idea. I know I am guilty of eating Candy Corn color by color, so are my kids lol.

I laughed. I tried candy corn in kindergarten, never ate it ever again. :P
I love candy corn .
Its.. candy…
‘Candy’ could mean anything! What actually is it? Is it just boiled sugar? Are they soft or hard? What does it taste of? Why on earth can you buy 5lb bags?

You don’t really want to know, but if you do….. the answer is in here:

Don’t worry I am not planning on eating it, never seen it for sale over here.
I think it’s mostly just made of sugar? The regular kind doesn’t have much of a flavor besides being sweet, and yeah the texture is a little waxy. The flavored kinds they’ve started making recently are okay, but it’s definitely far from my favorite Halloween candy.
The main reason you can buy 5lb bags is to share it in a big bowl at parties, to give out to trick-or-treaters, etc. Or I guess you could eat it all yourself but ew. (disclaimer: I don’t know if you can actually buy 5lb bags, but probably like 2lb are out there)

Candy Corn isn’t really a Halloween Candy… It’s actually a Fall/Autumn Candy. Same with the candy pumpkins that are made of the exact same stuff as candy corn.
Here’s what is in Candy Corn. Looks similar to the ingredients in most sugary candies here in the USA.
Regular Candy Corn Ingredients

Oh so it is actually part wax! That is interesting. Thanks all for the explanations.
