Dear Anet team,

I wanted to apologize for being kind of snooty and angry at you guys and gals about the event timing.

I thought it was going to be a one time even thing where no one would be able to participate. I was especially upset because I thought I would not be able to do this with my fiance since he has to work.

I realize now that its something that we can all watch it on youtube, and the actual fun part of the event is available to all of us regardless of timezone and location.

I don’t know why I had it in my head that you guys were going to rip off thousands of players… ): I’m sorry though.

You guys are better than that, and I should have realized that. After all, you’re the guys who made the game.

Again, I’m sorry for being angry. Even if you don’t respond, I hope you read this. I mean it all wholeheartedly. <3

Your not the only one who was concerned that you’d miss something really cool. There were a lot of us. When it is worded and indicated as a one time event we all got the impression that meant something we interacted with or otherwise an active part in. Now if they would have said it was going to be a one time cinematic I think we wouldn’t have seen so many people going crazy griping etc.

And it was a fair assumption to to make given what we knew about it (nothing) and what an “event” is in Guild Wars 2. I’m not here to apologize though.
