Hey there!

I’ve been trying to do clocktower for about 1-2 hour. I’ve finished it without any problems on my human. After finishing it on my human, I decided to do it on my asura.

Spoiler below, so stop reading if you dont want to see this!

At the end of the puzzle, that you have to jump into the clocktower that gets broken, I get ported to the start instead of the clocktower itself. I’ve tested this numerous times (Made it 16 times to that place and didn’t manage a single time to get ported inside)
This only happens on Asura. I logged my human again to try it their and got it in the first try. There really seems to be a bug related to Asura. Could anyone confirm if this is true?

The bug itself is entirely confirmed.

That it only happens to Asura, as of yet, unconfirmed and I’d believe to be false. I’ve had friends playing Asuras who finished it repeatedly without issue.

That you got the bug so frequently seems a little on the odd side. The same friend I mentioned above got the bug only once, but subsequently managed to finish the puzzle several times afterwards.

Perhaps you were just unlucky?

Is this server based perhaps..working on some and not others?

Ive finished it with an asura but I have also been ported back to the start without falling or running out of time… I was simply running then suddenly it put me back at spawn.. but as I said I did succeed eventually on my asura

I got the bug on my Charr.
Asura finished it just fine.

So this might be character related then? Or could it be something with the overflow?

I don’t think it has anything to do with people jumping at the wrong time and missing the jump, more than the server incorrectly assessing whether they made the jump or not and perhaps assuming they fell from the platform into the fog rather than into the tower?

Looking at that video he actually gets ported in before he hits the wall. I actually hit the gap of the clocktower and then get ported. This seems rather odd, could the last build maybe have broken this?

I done it plenty of times on a asura – not bugged for me =)

This happened to me on both my Human and Norn,
The only fix i found was to restart my client and then it fixed it completely and i jumped through first time.

I finished it 47 times now on my asura.

However there was one time when I jumped through the window while people were starting the tower again and it ported me on top of the starting area roof.

Don’t know if it’s asura related or not (doubt it), but it only happened once. Is that what happened to you? Oo

This is one of the reasons it took me more than nine hours to complete. It’s an uncommon bug, but it does happen for Asurans. After a while though you should be able to go through and claim your prize. Just takes forever.

i got the same problem on my Norn, i got to the end 5 times and never has been im successful at jumping to the hole. Get ported to the start every time.

i made it with SMALL asura….

Except it can…

This happens to me on both my human and my asura characters, so I don’t think it is limited to asura only.
