I can’t get the mad memories book. I have tried on two different characters, so I know I didn’t drop it or transmute it or anything. Some kind of error makes it so the third NPC thinks she has given me the book when she hasn’t. I really want this item, it’s pretty much the only thing available during this event to people who actually have lives and obligations outside the game that prevent them from farming for obscene amounts of gold and mats. MMO for casual gamers my kitten

I am posting in hopes that somebody has had this happen and has found a workaround. If so, please share.

EDIT: And I’ve already submitted a support ticket, but with the amount of bugs in this last patch the event will most likely end before I even get a response.

If I’m not mistaken, the 3rd ghost gives you the 4th book on accident. You’ve visited every one of the NPCs and have a total of 6 books?

I’ve visited every one and have a total of five. Missing book 3.

Not to irritate you more, but give them another round. See if one didn’t give you a book or maybe there’s one you accidently missed/broke off conversation with.

I’ve tried that but I’ll give her another go.

If you get there after someone else had summoned it, then its possible it’s timer elapsed and the NPC disappeared before you got the page.

Also, the final book when you turn on all 6 pages isn’t awarded automatically. It’s attached to a mail you will get.

I had a moment where I thought I accidentally trashed or sold the scavenger hunt reward before remembering I never took the attachment from the mail because my inventory was full.

Just checking, you mean the LA underwater ghost gave you the wrong book when she was supposed to give you book#3?

Yep, you’re right, didn’t get the book from the underwater one. How did I miss that? No, how did I miss it twice?
