I’ve been running around everywhere and every time it says I have a good reading and I use the matter meter nothing happens. That’s a candy corn wasted.

Another problem is that while hunting on my engineer, I had the matter meter out underwater and when I submerged it dissappeared— I still have 4 charges but my action bar is back to my rifle. That’s another candy corn wasted because I cannot “re-equip” my matter meter.

Is this how it’s supposed to work, and will opening a bug ticket even do anything at this point? I feel like issues like these fall on deaf ears as I’ve opened up threads and tickets about bugs outside the Halloween event and they are still not fixed.

u need to have candy corns in ur inv. its operator error my friend. just go to the sites and wait till some1 opens it.. not a big deal!

Yeah I know I have to have candy corn in my inventory. Let me put it down for you my friend:

1. I used one candy corn to use my machine underwater.
2. I swam thru a tunnel and popped up OUT of the water.
3. Upon hitting dry land, my action bar switched from my machine options to my normal weapon options. I still had 4 unused charge buffs from my machine.
4. I tried to put my machine back on because I had my four charges— no luck.

And that’s operator error? kitten off.

On a side note, I should be able to do activities like THIS without having to SIT AROUND an area and wait for someone else to do the work for me. That might be YOUR kitteny style, but NOT MINE. Thanks.

Can’t help with the equippage problem, but for using the meter—you have to use the right setting, and then look around really fast. I think the “Suspcious Locations” are only visible for about 15 seconds or so? And if you’re not right next to the ghost for the books, they’re easy to miss.

Also, you only use a candy corn when you equip it. Using the charges doesn’t use a candy corn.

It would be better to simply not reply at all if you have nothing to add. Although if anyone has an answer to the OP’s question, I am also curious to know.

I understand how it works. I’m not having problems equipping it!

I am saying I was underwater, and when I jumped out my action bars switched and I still had four charges! But re-equipping consumed ANOTHER candy corn!

Please read the ENTIRE thing, not just select parts and then call ME a nitwit.

Is this a bug or is it intended, is what my first and foremost question was!

People why havent you asked anybody ingame yet? running around isnt gonna do anything but waste ur candy corn, ok look, 1 ghost is right next to the gal you get the meter from(bugged last time i heard), 2 ghost is in the sewers of lions arch…..3rd ghost is just outside of lionsarch southwest underwater…..4th is in the crypt on queensdale…..5th is in the crypt of Gendarrenn fields(at the end you will see a tombstone that is sparkling, DO NOT TOUCH IT BEFORE YOU TALK TO GHOST), or it will teleport you all the way outside, and youll have to do traps all over again.

Branwin, as I said, I can’t help with the equippage thing—I don’t know if it’s a bug or what, as it hasn’t happened to me. But the part of your post about not finding anything I was trying to help with.
