Anyone else not able to do this? Boughta couple of karma boosters (cheapest ones) for the new chest, and i cant seem to be able to drag them onto the pane of the mystic forge.

Theres your problem right there. This was for people who bought a bunch of chests and whined when they didnt get anything so Anet gave them a second chance by throwing the items they got into the forge.

Soooooo only boosts taken from chests work?!?! that blows

Not true i bought 2 karma boosts from the store just now and it worked fine. However Killstreak and glory boosters do not work.
