There is something strange but when i jump toward the broken quadrant of the clock, i don’t enter. i jumped TEN TIMES … someone have the same problem? or i’m doing wrong something?!?!? O_o’

Strange really strange. I got in every jump i made.

Maybe it is lag?

well, 10 times is strange honestly… dunno, honestly, 10 times, really 10 times …

try jumping early, I usually jump right when I see the lightning strike the clock face

i do it Cerise … my pg jump into the clock face and fall down, every time … i’ll try for the 11th if it’s not a bug

That might be a good idea if you are lagging. Try to see if people blink and stuff like that.

If you are lagging you need to take that into account during the jump.

If not … well could be some weird bug , there are tons of weird bugs.

The last 7 or so attempts, i’ve just smacked into the tower, fallen down and been ported back to the spawn. It’s either lag, or you can only go inside once; most likely the former. =/

But i heard people saying they did this 10+ times.

Either they were lying or they got 10 alts?

Well , i only did 1 per char i got , so 3 times , cant confirm it myself.

This happened to me 4 times before the collision box properly detected my character.

I was able to see what’s inside… but now that I think about it, I forgot to take a screenshot. >_<

At least I have the slippers to prove it.

Log out of the game completely and log back in.

A friend of mine had the same issue where he would just hit the clock and slide off the opening. So I did some checking and others reported similar issues. Logging out completely seems to ‘reset’ you.

No idea… I’ll hop on my alt and then give it a bash, see if it lets me in first time.

14th jump times… it’s like an invisible wall. Now i jump far early (i hit the clock same time he’s broked) … but still nothing. bah, i’ll try to log off …

(and remove the FOV beta)

Switched to my alt, and made it in first try…

But then I swapped back to my main and made it in twice without any problems, so yeah, it’s definitely latency-related.

Might be latency related but it also seems likely that there is an issue with jumping too soon. Try waiting a tad bit longer and then jump inside the tower. This worked for someone else.

It seems it’s definitely lag to me. I’ve made it up there about 10-11 times as well and I’ve never gotten through the face. I’ve just now done a run with a friend, both of us ended at the face but he jumped “too early” from my perspective. He made it, I didn’t.

I’d say definitely try restarting the client. I went through the clock like 15 times yesterday, always hitting the invisible wall. Restarted client and got it the first try. :/ Its weird.

I’ve had this problem through restarts, but I’ll give that another go. I made it up there with the same friend and he looked at my jump. It looked perfect to him but I still didn’t get in.

I’ve gotten there about 15-16 times now, no dice. I’ve jumped early, I’ve jumped late, I’ve jumped right on time. I’ve restarted my client, I’ve tried it on alts.
