Clock Tower Groups Need to be SMALLER
The NPCs are right, it’s maddening. For the wrong reasons.
Can you just make it so everyone else is invisible or something? This is starting to piss me off. z.z
Charrs and overly large Norns ruin this puzzle. 95% of the time I can not see my character due to other very large characters overlapping it. Which makes timing jumps almost impossible. Combined with how fast the lava raises, it makes this puzzle quit frustrating. I’d rather do it in my own private instance, that way no one else gets in the way of jumps.

The groups are supposed to make it hard. It’s intentional.
In a game where even resource nodes are instanced so that players never conflict, you think that a single large charr / norn blocking everyone else’s view of their own character (and the way they’re supposed to jump) is intentional?
I guess Arena Net called in its sadistic “let’s make players hate each other” design team, then.
Never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence.
I suspect they just never tested the puzzles with this many people at the same time, and certainly not when half of them are max-size charr and norn, and your character is an asura. They probably tested it exclusively with humans, and solo (in fact, something that is obvious about other jumping puzzles as well, as anyone who tried to do Troll’s End at release with a norn or Goemm’s lab with an asura knows all too well).
The dificulty in a jumping puzzle should be the jumping puzzle, not the fact that your entire FoV is full of charr backside.

this is the dumbest event yet. 110 times trying anf falling cause the norms and charrs block the path smiple make it solo and get rid of the cut scene
Please make it smaller groups or solo. I like jumping puzzles and I don’t mind it when they’re frustrating, but when you keep falling because you can’t see where you’re landing, it’s just infuriating instead of fun.

Clocktower is so frustrating everytime Charrs and Norns are in my instance…. i even fail the startup jumps if they are present. I´m forced to switch instances until long i find one without these two races.
From the moment i find one i manage it nearly everytime from the first try to get near the end (just failed there cause of my own stupidness ). The sad thing is, it only takes 5 minutes and there are new Charrs and Norns in my instance and i´m failing instantly at easy jumps again because i don´t see anything.
Please make it a solo instance like Story or race based, so that everyone has the same chance to finish this event.
Actually i´m so frustrated that i stopped playing GW2 for the moment and take a brake of 1-2 days

This Video really helped me, Got the best spots to jump in it.
And the queue timer should not come up at all in it. My first time getting to the end and the thing popped up for me just as the clock face blew open nearly making me miss it.
I think the objective was to make this puzzle something social so doing it alone is not as funny as it is.
But that’s true, there groups are too large, maybe an instance for each race or something like that could be interesting.
It’s not even social. All it is is people yelling at inconsiderate norn and charr characters to get out of the room because they’re making it impossible.
Then, assuming they have the empathy for others to leave, you still have trouble, because other people are still making it impossible to get a grasp on your own positioning!
