I’ve spent over 5 hours in this jumping puzzle and I’ve gotten pretty good at getting to the last jump (right before jumping into the clock), but I still haven’t gotten inside the clock tower. I have a slight delay since I’m from asia and I’ve tried jumping pre-emptively but it still didn’t work.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it the lag? Any chance of increasing the hitbox for getting inside the clocktower?

The hit-box seems already quite big. Are you sure you wait before it gets shot?

You need to wait for the very last moment when the acid is close to you. On the last pass on the window, the glass will break and then you can jump inside.

the hit box its pretty much all around bugged this community doesnt have enough fingers to count how many times i landed a jump just to get kicked out like i failed, even that i was further ahead of everybody so it wasnt the mist/fog what ever name you like to call it.

Finally after several more times, I FINALLY MADE IT!

What I did differently is i just jumped in haphazardly. As soon as I saw the lightning hit, I jumped in knowing I’d fail anyway.

Yes, I wait for the lightning to strike first before I jump in, and thats where the problems come because I never seem to be able to get it if I time it correctly.

I’m not sure if this is a bug or anything, but I’d like ANet to know that there is something up with the hitbox for getting inside.

It is lag related. I failed 4-5 jumps due to high ping and finally made it when my ping was ~110. To see your ping, either open up vent or

There is a way to check it inside Taskmanager:
Open it up by right clicking your toolbar, or ctrl+shift+esc
Go to Performance Tab
Click Resource Monitor
Go to the Network tab
Select the GW2.exe process
Open up the TCP connections list and it should show the latency
