Clocktower - Multiple Wins - Title Please??
That would be cool xD
I do think that not having a small title for this was a bit silly. It’s not too hard but some people clearly are struggling. It’s like getting to say you climbed a really cool mountain.
Extremely surprised that competing the Clock Tower doesn’t even count towards the Mad Emissary achievement; it’s just a standard 10 Achievement Points and a lousy chest.
Considering the difficulty involved it’s a little underwhelming.
Amazing ANet put something this challenging in, but incredible that someone didn’t think “Hey, this is worth more than 10 achievement points”.
Make an easy version for the “completionists”
And give the gamers that did the real one a title.
Best solution for all the parties.
I’m on my 21th win so far. My guildies are hating me so hard atm.
I finally helped one get their first after 3 hours LOL.
The fact that there is no title is my only complaint about the clock tower. I wouldn’t want one for multiple wins because grinding is grinding. But, based on the butthurt in the forums, completing it at least once certainly seems to be an achievement worth a title!

No they did -exactly- the right thing. It is a very hard puzzle that (I saw pointed out) was intended for someting like 5-10% of the player base to be able to do without a lot of hassle. Making it entirely optional with a little nod to those who did it is a perfect way to add a hard task to the game without making those who can’t do it feel like they missed out on something special.
Forget 30 wins; doing it once with an asura is harder than doing it 100 times on a human or norn.
I do agree the game could use more titles (ex., for individual crafts, jumping puzzles, doing all paths in specific dungeons, etc.).
Yea! People that beat the clocktower should get some sort of title like… “Wasted my life” or “Sir Brags-a-lot”. It’d be nice to label the people I wouldn’t want anything to do with!

Yeah it’s tough for asura, atleast for the first part, camera bounces all over the place, but once all the fat people die you’re good to go.
Trust me stick with it.
Yea! People that beat the clocktower 25-30 times should get some sort of title like… “Wasted my life” or “Sir Brags-a-lot”. It’d be nice to label the people I wouldn’t want anything to do with!
Fix’d.
And YES this, Sir-Brags-a-Lot.
DO IT ANET!! I WANNA BRAG….S’lot.

This guy is a genius.
Arenanet make “Sir Brags-a-lot” happen please.
I want it so bad…
I would have gotten one long ago if that was the case. It would be nice, I wouldn’t mind jumping another 50 times.
I would do the clock tower 100 times for Sir-Brags-a-Lot
I’ll gladly trade my 250 ToT bags from my 25 wins for the title Anet!!!! Make it happens-a-Lot!

You think the casuals wont cry out for the title too after? There is never ever a solution!
Charr and Norn should get an achievement after 100 runs, Asura players should get the same achievement after 5 runs. Enough said.
