Wow… thanks for this info, I was about to give it another couple dozen attempts to see… and that would be just about the worst if that happened!

Made it in the 4th time. Turns out it was a particular instance to the game that was bugging the clock tower.
Removing post.

I dont know if its the same glitch, but one time, i jumped after window broke and it teleported me back to beginning. Only happened once though.
