1) Given that players have the required materials; Can we craft “Recipe: Gift of Souls”, “Recipe: Gift of The Moon” and “Recipe: Gift of Spiders” after Halloween is over?

So for example: during Christmas, if I put “250 Piece of Candy Corn”, “100 Nougat Center”, “40 Bottle of Elonian Wine” and “10 Pile of Crystalline Dust” into the mystic forge; Would I get a “Recipe: Gift of Souls”?

2) Given that players have the required materials: Can we craft “Runes of the Mad King” and “Sigils of the Night” after Halloween is over?

So for example: during New Year, If an artificer with 400 crafting level, who already learnt “Recipe: Superior Sigil of the Night”, tries to craft “20 Superior Sigil of the Night” with “20 Orichalcum Ingot”, “20 Charged Lodestone”, “2,000 Piece of Candy Corn” and “20 Glob of Ectoplasm”. Can she/he do so?

2 Questions directed at Arena Net. Sorry if they were already questioned beforehand: if they were, could someone link me to the thread where these questions were answered.

While Anthony does say that

. You can craft these at any time of the year, but there are certain components that will only drop during Halloween.

We can’t know for sure if he also meant the Recipes for the gifts obtainable from the Mystic Forge.

Only Mystic Forge recipe that I’ve read is going to for sure disappear is the Mad King Chest recipe. I’d assume that the Mystic Forge recipes will be available year round, just not the Halloween specific components that they require.

Not positive, though.

I guess that’s “Piece of Candy Corn”, “Chattering Skull”, “Nougat Center” and “Plastic Fang”, but that doesn’t answer the questions.

I need to know this as well. I would like to be able to forge the recipe after the event. I have the event items, but the 10g for Wine is a little bit more than i have right now.

I would also like to know this. Can’t afford the 10g each for wine, but more than willing to drop the <50 silver necessary for the rest of the stuff necessary for Recipe:Gift of Souls and Recipe:Gift of Spiders.

Similar Situation here. Currently, I have 0g 2s 77b total: I am broke.
I gathered the Halloween components required but the other components, like “40 Bottle of Elonian Wine” and “10 Pile of Crystalline Dust”, I have no time/money for.

Well if you have no time and no money then perhaps you shouldn’t be looking at crafting Halloween exotics items. I don’t get it why your crying on the forums??

If you read his post again, you’ll se he’s not crying on the forums, he’s just wondering if he’ll be able to craft the specific gift after Halloween ends.

Anyways, I’d like to know the answer to the question as well.

I might be wrong but I think Alistair strategically posted that post so that I would have a reason to reply and bump up this thread.

Even if we don’t get a reply from ArenaNet, we will know the answer tomorrow. Only differences their reply will make is whether or not crafters spend money on materials for crafting.

Alistair, if you lack reading comprehension, why are you reading on the forums??

I’m curious too since I’m holding onto items for later crafting. But the cost involved and the less than unique looks (to me) make me question whether I should bother.

I could just buy the Greatsword skin that I really want and save my mats/money for legendary…. hmm…. but the desire to collect just to have is strong in me….

They posted elsewhere that all recipes WILL be available for crafting indefinitely IF you have the mats…
