Every time you did Ascent to Madness and everybody got “Mad King Says” right, you got exotics in the chest?

I tried to explain this to people, but nobody believed me.

some of us didn’t even see the chest, and it vanished too quickly. So i’m one who didn’t get the chest even though i successfully did event. Yay….

Well, I was talking about the dungeon, Ascent to Madness. Not the party.

Caleb, i think nldixon is talking about MK’s dungeon. Well, at least that’s what I think.

Even if so, I’ve only gotten that MK says in there twice, and out of those times, I got 1 exotics.

Now that you mention it i think you’re right. Too bad I was only allowed to do it a few times.

Yes. I believe two people got the emotes for “Mad King Says” during each run. If both people did it successfully, there were always exotics in the chest.

well, that might be true, but I don’t think it’s always guaranteed? The first time I was in there, there were only two of us, and seriously none of us got the prompt, so I was really confused.

well, at least now I know how to get that exotics…for next year…because it’s too late now.

I never saw anyone get any of the Halloween exotics in any of my runs, but there were plenty of standard exotics.

I did it solo while doing all the emotes right, no exotics. I did it with my guildies, none missing an emote, no exotics.

I wish I had known this! I mostly did this mission for fun rather than for the goodies, but I wouldn’t have minded some exotics as a bonus.

No, this is wrong. I had the emote bar what seemed like nearly every single run I did (I think it was given to the dungeon starter more often than not) and I hardly ever got exotics, despite doing the dungeon 100+ times.

What I find interesting is with all of my runs, I never once got any yellow. No blues or yellow, just 95% green, 3% white/halloween related things, and 2% extoics.

I did a 5 run straight once as dungeon starter/party leader, didn’t get emote prompt.

Not to pop the bubble of this theory, but I’ve had the emote bar several times (felt picked on, honestly, as some of the better loot came from the initial fight and I was always getting tied up with the mad king says game), and despite doing it correctly I never received any exotics. Ran that dungeon A LOT too.

Random is random.

It’s not just YOU that has to do it perfectly. Everyone who is prompted to do the emotes had to do it perfectly.

In every run I did where everyone did the emotes perfectly (you can tell when people fail) everyone got an exotic from the chest.

Nope, this was pure coincidence.

I did the full MK says successfully three times, never got any exotics from the dungeon. Must be coincidence.

i got 2 exotics out of 8 runs. i dont complain
