Guild Wars 2

Just curious. I got the Scythe skin and it looks pretty cool on it’s own, but it’s a little plain compared to the Greatsaw and the Shield. I haven’t actually used the skin yet, though.

I was curious if it had any sort of effect when you were wielding it that doesn’t show up on the preview? I’m considering selling it for a Greatsaw if it doesn’t have any sort of effect, ‘cause a Scythe doesn’t really fit any of my characters at the moment.

No effects at all, looks like a plain rusty scythe, pity really.

I hate to bump my own thread, but… has nobody gotten this yet? I’ve seen it just on someone’s back. I was curious if anything happened while it was wielded. Like, smoke, or a trail, or something.

Also, does anybody know if it works well with the Necro black glowy Scythe that pops up whenever they use Staff skills?

Maybe try asking in LA at a busy time would give you better result if until then no one replied to you…I’ve been trying to find more info but theres nothing aside from the greatsaw and the shield -.-’

Yeah. I’ve seen a picture of it, but nothing of it in action.

I kind of just want to bite the bullet and try it, but it really doesn’t fit any of my characters at the moment and, from what I keep hearing, prices for it should rise after the halloween event, so I don’t just want to offload it now.

One more bump before I just let this die, since more people should have the Scythe Skin by now (hopefully).

Eck. Well, thanks for that! Kind of sucks. I mean, as far as staves for Necro characters go, it’s still pretty good, but they could’ve done more with it.

But, alas, it’s not a Greatsword, so I’m not sure why I got my hopes up. :P
