Hey guys,

First of all, loving Halloween! Tower was a bit of a pain, but once you get the hang of it it starts getting fun!

I do have a problem though, I have completed 3 of the 5 achievements required for the Emissary of the Mad King (collect Trick and Treat bags, kill 150 enemies and complete 10 events) but my progress bar only shows 2/5.
Anyone else having this problem and is there someway to fix it?

I’m glad/sad to hear that I’m not the only one seeing this issue. Has any one submitted a bug report for it? What category was it submitted under?

I submitted a report, couldn’t find a category, no season events or achievements, so I filled it under dynamic events, thinking that was the closest one. Added a screenshot too!

It didn’t count the clocktower and pumpkin carvings for me. No idea whether they should be counted or not.

No, they don’t. The ones counting are events, kills, ToT bags, The Mad Kings Realm and the Party one

i think everything in the special event tab should count, aside from the emissary title itself…

According to a post by one of the developers, the Clock Tower and the Pumpkin Carving achievements are not counted, so it is possible to complete N achievements and have the counter show N-2 without it being a “bug” (although it still means the tooltip is misleading, since it says it counts “Halloween Achievements” in general, not just specific ones).

However, some people’s counter seems to be missing other achievements as well, so there’s clearly some bug here.

Hopefully we’ll get some sort of official reply before the event ends.

I have this problem too. I have completed 5 achievements but as clock tower and pumpkin carving doesn’t count I should be at 3/5.
I am however still stuck at 2/5.

I too have submitted a bug report with a screenshot.

I know that at least one of my achievements was slow to appear. I didn’t track it that closely, but I think it finally showed up the next time the server day reset.

Thing is, the achievement itself, the ones for the kills, the ToT bags and the events show up immediately, but the ‘meta’ achievement only counts 2 instead of 3. Been like this for 12 hours now, several reboots have been done

Clock tower and pumpkin carving don’t count towards the achievement.

It’s definitely not a bug that affects everyone equally – I’ve completed all that’s completable upto this point and my Emissary title track is on 3/5 as it should be. Those who have the same completion rate but only have 1/5 or 2/5 on their title track are clearly being affected by some random bug that prevents the counter on the title track from updating.

If relogging or restarting the game client doesn’t fix this, I would advise bug reporting it and sending a ticket into support.

Thankfully since this is a meta-achievement it means it should be fixeable even after halloween ends, since as long as you have the 5 prerequisite achievements completed before the end of halloween the proof that you should have completed the meta-achievement and received the title is right there in your log (and in the server logs as well).

You get a point towards it I believe when you do Reaper Rumble, upon exiting the mini game.

I didn’t get my 3/5 until I left the rumbler area. I’d done everything else, that was the last thing and it ticked over after I left.

I have the same Bug but no idea how to fix it.

I have submitted a support ticket now as well as the bug report. No response yet though.

I am stuck at 3/5 as well as of the 28th. I’ve been attempting to jump start it by doing a ton of the events but nothing seems to be working. I’ve submitted a bug as well.

As of right now it’s showing correctly for me. It shows that I have 4 of 5 items done. The only things I don’t have done are the pumpkin carving, the clock tower, and attending the party.

I just hope that the party will be at multiple times like his appearances in GW1 was so that I can finish the title achievement. I have to work Halloween night unless I get lucky and we don’t have enough work to keep us busy, then we get to leave early.

Still not showing correctly for me, but as stated here before, I think as long as you have all the achievement, Anet can fix the bug after the event and still give you the title

I’m 4/5 right now and I wasn’t around till the start of Act II. Never done the first questline.

The Jumping Puzzle and the Master Carver Titel don’t count.

I love puzzles so I wanted to do that anyways…but why the hell am I wasting my life carving pumpkins if it’s not necessary. Holy kitten. I’m feeling like punching something now.

Haha, i did the same thing. guess i just wanted to complete the whole tab.

Some people are trying to max out Costume brawling.
Can’t see myslef doing that. =D

I posted this same problem around 8 hours ago but no one replied, i’ll post it again here;

I have done all the achievements except ‘Attend the Party’;

Halloween Huntin’ (150/150)
Halloween Events Completed (10/10)
It’s a Mad King’s World (4/4)
Attend the Party (0/1)
Trick or Treat bags opened (100/100)
Pumpkin Carving (150/150)
Mad King’s Clock Tower (1/1)

But the “Emissary of the Mad King” achievement says 3/5.

I hope this gets fixed because i’ve already put too many hours into this getting all the pumpkins, getting trick or treat bags and hunting doors for halloween mobs to kill.

This is probably just a bug with how it’s displayed. I very highly doubt you won’t get your Emissary title and, even if you don’t right away, this is something that will be fixed. If you have all the required achievements you will get your title.

Punk Rogue’s achievement score looks just like mine, but here it is for posterity.

Hope nothing stops us from getting our titles…

I only had 1/4, until I went down into the dungeon that used to be the golden lion statue in Lion’s Arch. Then I had 2/4. Had you done that yet?

I mean for “It’s a Mad King’s World”.
