Guild Wars 2

I’ve completed collecting all the parts for the Mad King story and talked to the NPC which combined it into an item.

However the “Emissary of the Mad King” achievement is still 0 for me. I saw a youtube video online and this guy got his counter up halfway or something.

Is there something wrong here? Thanks

We are only in Act 1 and while we did the item and received our book that could very well be only the precursor. So hold and wait and we will all see.

I have completed 3 achievements related to Mad King and the meter is still showing 2.
I assume that some don’t count ( carver? ) and the rest will progress with act 2-3-4.

Thanks for the replies. So basically the quest to collect 6 mad king memoir don’t count yet?

same as you I did the book quest first and was showing 0, the 3 others achievement boosted my meter to 2

I think all 4 acts will count for 1, the clock tower another when available

I suspect that something is bugged. I’ve done all the ones that you can currently complete (Halloween Huntin’, Trick or Treat Bags Opened, and Pumpkin Carving – as well as the first Act’s quest) and mine says 1, not 2.
