Absolutely. I love this game and all of the work that’s gone into it, and I honestly don’t think I could respect a company that rushed something for a deadline.

ANet has proven time and time again that they’re producing a quality product, waiting is just a part of that process.

Same here! Very excited! I hope you guys at Arena Net look at these threads as well. The very vocal minority is bashing you over and over, but the vast majority are having fun in game with fan made events, and looking forward to the fruits of your hard work and efforts!!

I’m waiting patiently! I’m eating cake and playing Guild Wars 2 without the patch because I am just that awesome. Also thinking about what I am going to be for Halloween if anything at all.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, as luck would have it), I’m at work right now, so I have no choice but to wait patiently, seeing as even if the event started right this minute, I still wouldn’t be able to play it until midnight tonight, Pacific time.

Even so, I remember logging in last night a little after midnight expecting the patch, didn’t see it, and I didn’t freak out about it. I actually went to sleep. When I woke up, I played some before work, thinking that the patch would hit before I left. Of course, it didn’t hit then either.

Would I have liked to have played some of the patch before I went to work today? Of course! It’s crazy how up and arms people are getting, though. It’s just like in Beta when the servers didn’t IMMEDIATELY open at the appropriate time. You’d get a thousand players suddenly posting the same exact thing all at once, most of whom hadn’t posted a single constructive thing before that. :\

Anyway, enough of that… CAKE! Evil, evil pumpkin Cake!

I have been reading the QQ on the forums here trying to send myself to sleep but my insomnia is just too strong tonight. I hear there are some pretty awesom parties going on in LA atm. I might have to brave the cold and hop back on to join the fun

Just like the rest of the world its all on the person. I’m from Texas and waiting patiently for gw2 to update.

It was great hanging out in Lions Arch with everyone waiting for the event. Funny to see all the people from HoD come out of hiding to have some fun. I didn’t think we had that many people left.

I’m going to log in and see how busy Gunners is.

I might even go see if it’s worth doing some Orr farming. That is if I can get some hits in past the bots.

Very excited for the update and waiting patiently as I’d rather have it go live late and work right than early or even on time and be bugged out and such.

I only pray to god I’ll even be able to login after the patch goes live since as of about 3pm cst this afternoon I’ve been getting the constant black screen video adapter failure crash literally within 2 seconds of logging in no matter what I try to do

I’m waiting patiently, I had the American presidental debates to hold me over a good 1.5 hours, but I think the lack of significant communication is a lil bothersome.

Regardless, ANet hasn’t failed me yet these last few months, I’ll hold on for another hour
