I’m uncertain if this is a bug whatsoever, thus I’ve chosen to place it in this particular subsection of the forum first.

Throughout the past thirty minutes, a group of 15+ players and myself were attempting to do the Forsaken Halls mini-dungeon. Immediately upon entering, the Veteran Fleshreaver(? – forgot the specific name, sorry!) was sitting in the middle of the first dark room with the event to aid Gerrvid in killing it having already begun.

Gerrvid, however, is dead in a corner and cannot be resurrected. All of the braziers are lit, and the boss is still invincible.

I was told that there are levers to open a door leading to the boss, but with the thing sitting in the middle of the entrance, I’m uncertain if the quest has simply bugged out or if there’s more to it than the lot of us were able to understand.

I just now had the same experience. Gerrvid is not in his starting place – he’s inside already with the fleshreaver, the event has already started, and there is no way to damage it even after lighting all the braziers.

Exactly. I’ve enjoyed the Mad King event immensely, but this has really put a damper on things considering it’s stalling the progress of not only myself, but the 40+ people that have come and gone since the thing bugged out.

same situation on the Tarnished Coast server too.

Gerrvid is dead and in the room with the Veteran Fleshgrazer already.. the Fleshgazer is invulnerable/immune to all damage. and Gerrvid is apparently stuck dead and unreviveble.

Exactly. I’ve enjoyed the Mad King event immensely, but this has really put a damper on things considering it’s stalling the progress of not only myself, but the 40+ people that have come and gone since the thing bugged out.

This is not a Mad King event, but a permanent minidungeon. What’s bad programmed about it, is allowing multiple players to join the istance opened by someone. THIS made the DE goes broken. A random mess of a noone not even playing the DE.
I suggest a patch to make the door open just to who is part of the DE, closing the door on the back while inside. Resurrection will be inside the room, next to the entrance, like phase 2 when jumping puzzle (kinda of) part begins.
I understand lazyness programming, but well..

It’s bugged. That veteran boss in the beginning is actually the final boss in that mini-dungeon and is supposed to be killed when all 5 torch places in the area are lit. However, due to a bug, the boss is still invulnerable and cannot be killed.

You’re just gonna have to wait till the server’s reset to do the dungeon again…

Went out of state for a couple of days after posting this- was excited to return and finish, but it seems that the issue still hasn’t been addressed. I am on the Tarnished Coast server as well, and the mini-dungeon is in the same state.

Very surprised that this hasn’t been patched, given that it puts a damper on the festivities.
