Hello all,

I am curious as to see what, and how the other acts will play out, and what other kind of special rewards we’ll be able to achieve. I can’t say I’m all over the hype of the Halloween event, it’s kind of dull, and boring I guess. the only thing I haven’t done yet, is found one of those “Haunted” doors, which I’m still looking forward to finding.

Here’s a question though. ArenaNet, do you have further use for the currency “Candy Corn”? As it stands now, it’s pretty much useless, at least to the classes I currently am playing, (Warrior/Guardian/Thief). Can’t really even use the Candy to purchase the temp weapon skins, because there’s only a Staff, Bow, and whatever else it was, certainly nothing I could use, nor care to use.

Also, why is there three different Candy Corn Vendor icons, when you only use the Candy Corn on one of them, the other recipes I’ve just gotten with Karma.

Anyways, love to know if there’s any reason for me to keep stacking this Candy Corn, haven’t sold any yet, but if there’s no further usage of this, I’d rather sell it, make some silver, and just ignore mining it period.

I suppose what you say does make sense in the other topic. However, what if ArenaNet decides to get rid of the Candy Corn period, so that no weapon skins could be crafted at all? It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they just removed the entire ore period. ArenaNet could have simply done something with the ore, such as set it on a time limit, and at the end of the event, everything just vanishes.

Though, I suppose waiting isn’t too bad. Still prefer to have an answer from ArenaNet themselves.

Yeah I understand. This has been brought up a lot and I can’t commit to 100% certainty but its very very likely that candy corn will not be expiring since it is needed in such abundant amounts for the craft-able weapon skin. I believe they stated that the nodes I harvest would be gone but the candy corn in circulation would be sticking around. Anyways, hope that helped a bit.

I think Anet already said you can craft the weapons later , problem is the materials will be limited since we cant farm them anymore after the event.
