Getting kicked out of clocktower cinematic

im pretty sure its not bc of the grouping bc it happend to me while i was alone the other day i guess im just getting unlucky, and thanks i hope its fixed soon also
Did you try doing the puzzle starting from where you are in the third screenshot?

This has happenned to me a few times! But I didnt let it bother me… what bothers me is having the clock tower NOT instanced… I admit the tower puzzle itself is not that hard, BUT norn and big charr make it impossible for me to see my character or where to jump And when I get tired of failing repeatedly for an hour I sometimes get cautious and go a bit slower to see my character… then fail coz the green goo gets me.
it doesnt bother me its just that i want anet to see this glitch and fix it for others, honestly the size of the norn and charr doesnt both me, once u get past the start most ppl fall off anyways and for that start part i learned if u jump 4 times, first on the lil clock in front of u, u dont have to look at ur character ul make it either way and the rest is cake
The clocktower has a cinematic? I’ve never even seen one, does it start each time you start the race or is it a one time thing?
There are a number of things about the clock tower that people aren’t aware of that can go wiggy. For one, the normal queues are not working. You get placed in overflow, and you stay there forever until you change overflows. However, you can get into the non-overflow for your server by getting outside the lobby and into the water like in some of these screen shots. You just have to be far enough from the lobby that when the event starts you aren’t near enough to be included. You can easily get out of the lobby just by jumping up the wall.
In the non-overflow runs, I’ve never seen more than four people, and it’s usually only two or three total in there. With all of the overflows packed all the time, something is clearly not working with the travel queues since they never trigger unless you get outside the normal event. This is the main reason the overflows are always packed.
Once you’re out, you’ll see the jumping puzzle is actually three separate towers in that small map area, all spaced out in a triangle in the water. The first is the lobby you start in while waiting for the next run with the tower facing you through the gate. This one is stationary and just for display while you wait. The second is the actual tower run, and the lobby and tower both are actually rotating around a central axis. The third tower is just the upper part where the chest is. If you’re out in the water, you can swim to each section and see people in the lobby, watch them run up the tower, or see them in the chest room.
