Not to mention the ability to spawn cauldrons.
best gems ever spent.

I just happen to LOVE the witch costume. Buying it was the first thing I did when the patch was live haha. Its gorgeous! <3

Definitely going to pick up the costume in addition to the others, though I am somewhat disheartened that the warlock look is only for male characters and in my opinion looks great; but then that is what I get for playing a female character. So whatever. I wonder if there will be anymore costumes coming for this Halloween?

Is the Witch skin account bound? Can I use it for more than one character? Cause I can’t justify that price if it’s just for one character.

It’s account bound, so no worries. Way better use for gems than chest…

The gems on this is totally worth it, account bound, unique skills, totally changing the enviroment, ACCOUNT BOUND, 700 gems, Good job arenanet.

Yes could somebody tell us what the skills do for this? The cauldron and melting that you mention sound intriguing…

Can you explain how to use them for more than one character? I didn’t buy a costume/ town cloth yet, but if these are account-bound, I’ll maybe give them a try.
So can they be duplicated or can we get them from a npc?
Or is it still for one character as long as one of my character wears it until I decide to take it back from that character to give it to another one?

Speaking for the nature of costume brawl:

1 – Fires bats – attacks 3 times forwards
2 – Cauldron – allows other people to enter into costumes / animals
3 – Ooze pool – damages AoE
4 – Broom – protected from brawl skills
5 – Break

Definitely a good investment.

The various abilities do costume brawl things, though the cauldron is useable by everyone once placed. Melting is also like shielding. It casts protection from costume brawl attacks on you.

I really love the witch costume, and the skills are amazing! I just think it’s unfair that for the price I paid that I can’t wear it on multiple characters at the same time. I really wish they’d make it like GW1 where you could make as many as you like after you buy it from the store. Maybe that’s just me…

Both of the halloween costumes are amazing! I love the animations with the witches costume and as horrendous as the jokes are on the Mad King’s costume, it’s pretty darn awesome as well. :)

Can you use the cauldrons you conjure to transform yourself? I assume yes?

Out of curiosity, what are the skills for the Mad King costume?

I bought the male witch costume and im a bit dissapointed in 2 of the animations that the female costume does much better.

¹ the "melt’ animation for the male version ends with the female witches hat and cape falling to the ground. Neither item the male version actually has.

² the “flying broom” animation for the male has him straddling the broom and the broom just clips through the robe horribly. I would much rather the male version sat side saddle like the female if this is the best they can do.

When i spend this kind of money on a costume id like to see a little higher quality. The costume would be so much better if my character where female.

I really hope they go back and fix those 2 issues at some point, but i doubt it will happen =/

Yeah the costumes do look great! I bought the King and the Phantom mask myself. But I do wish they had made a more simpler variety for those who did no purchase a costume.

I bought the Mad King costume and never received it, guess i got a trick rather than a treat this Halloween.

Everytime I drank from my own cauldron, I turned into the giant frog with witches hat, which I enjoy just as much! He (she?) only has a couple attacks, but one is a slow but hard aoe stomp great for tight brawl crowds. Looks funny as hell imo and its like two forms from one skin

Also how does the cat works <.<? i wanted a mini cat since release but the put the only one for GW1 players .-.

I bought the witches costume as soon as I logged into the event but I have yet to see a little black cat. Can I please get some details on it? Rather upset that I don’t seem to have one… Or I’m blind.

leave combat by pressing the 5 skill. the 5 skill then becomes summon familiar, which is the cat.

I love this costume and Im soo happy I bought it the fact that it is account bound makes it even better. Good job Anet.

I WOULD like to see them change the broom-riding face for humans though… it just looks ridiculous atm. Small qualm but it is there.
